To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Hadra is proud to present a new triple VA compilation symbol of the past 20 years of activism for promotion and democratisation of psychedelic culture in France and around the globe.

This special edition release, called "20 years of ResisTrance", brings together all the generations of musicians who have evolved over the years alongside Hadra. 
It therefore offers a complete panorama of the different styles and trends of psytrance from its beginnings to the present day, as the association has experienced them in your company over the past two decades.
"20 years of ResisTrance" gathers both emblematic tracks from Hadra Records and Altervision Records but also mindblowing unreleased tracks meticulously selected by the Hadra team.

Moreover, it’s also a tribute to a great man, founder of the association in 2001 and passionate militant of our microcosm : Driss, who first used in Hadra the term “Resistrance” to name his own compilation back in 2012.

Not to be missed under any circumstances, 20 years is definitely a date to celebrate !

Plusieurs générations d'artistes ayant évolué au sein des labels Hadra se trouvent aujourd'hui dans cette release collector, offrant un panorama complet des différents styles et tendances de la psytrance de ses débuts à aujourd'hui. Cette compilation rassemble des artistes internationaux qui ont marqué l'histoire, mais aussi des artistes émergents de la région grenobloise qui ont évolué avec Hadra toutes ces années. "20 ans de RésisTrance", ce sont à la fois des morceaux emblématiques des labels Hadra Records et Hadra AlterVision Records mais aussi des morceaux inédits, tous soigneusement sélectionnés par l'équipe Hadra. 

Cette compilation est un clin d'œil à celles et ceux qui ont été aux côtés de Hadra toutes ces années, artistes, bénévoles, partenaires, salarié.e.s, intermittent.e.s, qui ont donné de leur énergie et toute leur passion pour faire vivre ce projet depuis 2001. "ResisTrance" est aussi un hommage à un grand monsieur : Driss, fondateur de l'association et militant passionné pour notre milieu. 

Force et ResisTrance à celles et ceux qui continuent de faire vivre la culture psychédélique au quotidien, pour que vive notre musique et que l'on continue de se retrouver lors de nos tendres festivals et pendant encore longtemps.

There is an extensive number of living things and wilderness on this planet, all with their own set of intrinsic characteristics and unique ways of life, carrying their own beat and sense of rhythm, resonating at their own individual frequency.

All matters are linked to one another - from humans to animals, to plants to earth, and in the good to the bad. Today, we face a broken world lacking in harmony, where humans are disconnected with themselves and with nature.

We all know that the power of music has the effectiveness to heal, and to unite people accross different cultures from all around the world.

Ten outstanding talented psygressive and dark progressive artists are gathered in this compilation to express and spread the values of love and passion through their awe-inspiring music. Each one of them providing powerful stories, offering an opportunity to connect with ourselves intimately.

Thus, Kunayala Records proudly presents their new compilation, RESONANCE, featuring music carefully selected by the French DJ/producer, Ahyoka. We are very grateful and thank each artist for their participation in this release !

An African proverb says “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” We feel the urge to make a positive impact on our environment, especially with what we are confronted with today. We heal Mother Earth by uniting humanity. This is why we would like to get involved by contributing 20% of this release’s profit to reforestation actions in partnership with Ecosia, to combat deforestation in the Amazon rainforest caused by economic and political undertakings, in the fight against climate change.
Last year, Brazil lost about 310,000 acres of high-biodiversity forests.
Today, it could be experiencing the worst fire season in a decade with a 17% deforestation increase since 2019, threathening wildlife and indigenous communities.
Don't forget that forests are the ones keeping our planet healthy, and us alive.

•》BIOGRAPHY《•
Grace, a.k.a AHYOKA, is a female DJ and producer of dark progressive trance based in North of Paris, France. 

She is above all, a storyteller and generator of energies throughout her music. AHYOKA is a Native American word meaning “she brought happiness”. The aim of this project is to open your senses and consciousness by experiencing deep, emotional and mental sounds.  
It’s all about combining one track with another, and finding that chemical reaction that transforms them in order to create a profound experience for those on the dance floors. 

Grace got her first taste for music at a very young age by playing the piano, followed by the guitar and drums.

In 2009, she was introduced to trance music where she instantly fell in love with the psychedelic scene; the music, the energy, the vibes, the people and the culture. With encouragement from friends, she decided to take up mixing and bought her first turntables in 2010.

DJing since 2011, she quickly rose as a prodigious artist, bringing the dance floor along with her. Grace was first known under the name “Pandora” from Mental Drop Records, playing electro breaks on vinyl then switched to progressive trance on CDJs. She formed her dark progressive project, Ahyoka, after signing on as a label DJ for the Danish label, Melting Runes Records, and for whom she compiled the V.A 'Lupuna' released in 2015.
She had finally found her mark in the greasy basslines of dark progressive.

She has had the opportunity to play in France, Norway, Portugal, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, India, the U.K, Morocco, Greece, La Réunion, including various underground parties, clubs and festivals such as Álfheimr Festival 2016, Egregora Festival 2016, Forest Soul Gathering 2017 & 2019 (also collaborated as stage manager on the main stage), Fora de Tempo Festival 2018 & 2022 (where she also worked as logistics manager with the Production Crew / Stage manager), Psychedelic Meadow 2019, Primitif Festival 2019, Eudaimonia Gathering 2021, Ethereal Decibel Festival 2022, Hadra Trance Festival 2022, Neurolab Festival, Festifl’Art #14, Château Perché & Elektric Park Festival.

Behind the decks, she manages to express with finesse, powerful Dj sets with rumbling bass lines combined with dark, twisted and hypnotic sounds, with influences from various genres from techno to forest styles. 

Bathed in imagination and always eager to learn, Grace decided to reach another level by branching out into music production.

Today, Ahyoka is signed as a Label – Dj/Producer for Katayy Records and ADN Music.
