Channelling inspiration from the likes of Tapesh, Basti Grub, and Mendo, Russia-born DJ and producer Botar is known for his deep and atmospheric compositions that take in elements from tech house to deep house to techno. Following a recent hiatus, Botar has been turning heads of late through releases via Bully Beatz and Black Turtle Records before now making his mark on Junior Jack’s label Adesso Music with ‘Walking Shadows’. 

The hypnotic ‘Walking Shadows’ is a rich showcase of percussive finesse and rolling textures, bringing together stripped-back beats, arpeggiated synths, and provocative vocals that bring the late-night feels.

I made this edit while I was on a plane heading to my gigs for Miami Music Week in March 2025. The day prior to me leaving , my brother Peter Aces asked me to ID the vocal , he couldn’t remember who the original artists were. Sometimes I’m like a human version of Shazam, I knew what track it was right away after he sent me the lyrics .  As I sat on the plane I couldn’t get The Rapture by Black Coffee out of my head, so I broke out my laptop, I extracted the acapella from the Original version of Rain (produced by Oscar G) .. and I edited the vocal over the The Rapture while adding a few little tweaks of my own to make the track stand out a bit … it was pure magic and the crowds reaction solidified the whole idea and made it into a true summer weapon for me that I tend to play a lot over this summer coming… so here you go , here’s my edit of rain vs the rapture .

balafon, a very sentimental guitar, subtle synthesizers, very enveloping violins with
harmonies made from the heart, the touch of a soul voice, set in a apocalyptic world and
with the final touch: the innocent voices of children echoing in our ears and our conscience.
     "Time is passing and there is no turning back," says the lyrics of this song based on the
scriptures. When “Manybeat” made this song, he was thinking about the warning that the
earth is giving us. Wars, pandemics, natural disasters, the selfish business world and life
itself is giving us a sign of something much greater: "A great tribulation."
      The faith of man is diminishing and the voices of "the children" warn us that we can
become aware of all these matters if we pay attention to our surroundings and the
prophecies.
      This is a track that reaches the soul with its incredible tones. When deejays around the
world touch it, they are going to make the audience stunned and think about how to
improve their lives; that it is time to embrace our children, our friends, our family and
implore God to intervene in the land that we ourselves are destroying with our selfishness.
     "I'm here" says the chorus of male voices, giving a touch of responsibility to this work.
As we dance and sing "El Tiempo" it gives us a loving blow to the heart, and that is the
main purpose of this track according to its creator "Manybeat".
