Electronic musician and guitarist, Sun Dawei is a very active composer in China. He started learning guitar at the age of fourteen, and later formed a punk band, which became the catalyst for him to open the door to music. Settled in Beijing in 1999, then began research and creation of electronic music, and at the same time began to dabble in Fashion Show, film, drama and commercial soundtrack work. 

After several transformations, in order to explore different music spaces. He announced a new musician project - CTAFAD. In 2020, "Vertical Horizontal" was published on "Shanshui Music". In this album, you can hear "the original sound without too much modification, the sense of space like the atmosphere, and the ambitious ultrasonic experiment. In the end, an epic The core sound field has been carefully polished. 

The rhythm and bass line are proficient in interaction from the beginning, gradually unfolding and never extinguishing." In the subsequent release of "Vertical Horizontal Extended" and other EP albums, CTAFAD invited Claudio PRC, Blazej Malinowski, Atomic Moog, Polygonia, Laertes and IORI participated in the remix of the album. A new music-making journey is driven by inner passion and exploration, collaboration and development.

Slowly began to emerge in many foreign Techno labels. Such as: Sungate, Indefinite Pitch, Oslated, Secuencias Temporales和Melifera. At the same time, he also created a new music label "GSXS" - mindin thought, full vision.

En nuestra séptima edición invitamos a Illusion of Divinity.

Comenzó a sus 16 años produciendo música, abarcando estilos como el Gabber y el Schranz, para luego acudir a sus primeros raves donde descubrió los géneros más hipnóticos y minimalistas del Techno, donde se sintió sumamente inmerso. Empezó a subir sus primeros sets y canciones a Soundcloud y Spotify redondeando estos espectros de la música electrónica. Con influencias de artistas como Oscar Mulero, AgainstMe, Casual Treatment y otros sellos discográficos como Polegroup o Mord, ha moldeado un sonido crudo, industrial, profundo y agresivo, sonido que enmascara una gran parte de su personalidad y actitud frente a lo establecido. Su trabajo siempre busca darle un énfasis a la lucha social y a lo político, por ende, basa sus producciones y mezclas en los sonidos más pesados y transgresores, porque para su persona, el arte sin provocar no es arte.

- ¿Qué te motivó a ser Dj?

Desde mis trece años que empecé a componer música con mi guitarra y grabadora, quise llevar esas ideas a escala macro. Durante mi evolución como músico, y eventualmente artista, descubrí la música electrónica, y hasta el momento, ha sido el género musical con el que más he conectado en toda mi vida. A mis 17 años acudí a mi primer rave, en la UCR, donde vi tocar por primera vez a un DJ; quedé encantado con su set. El sentimiento que sentí en el pecho, ese calor e impulso tan incandescente, nunca se podrá comparar. En ese momento supe lo que quería hacer en mi vida: dedicarme a crear y hacer performance de música electrónica (principalmente).

- ¿Qué consejo le darías a alguien que está empezando a ser Dj?

Le recomendaré ser su propio ser, de la forma más auténtica y real posible, pero sobre todo, que aproveche la posición que tiene como DJ para usar su voz en pro a las personas disidentes y las injusticias sociales, y lo más importante: que mantenga una expresión y postura sólida. Hoy en día son muches les DJs que no aprovechan esta posición para abogar por el bien social y comunitario, son muches les que, por la misma industria y las modas que inundan sus escenas, dejan la esencia de su propio ser de lado y se concentran en mantener una imagen neutral y fácil de mercadear, pero recuerden: la neutralidad es otra forma de complicidad. ¡Ayúdense entre todes, aboguemos juntes por un bien comunitario, por una idea mutualista, cooperativa y sin jerarquías!

- ¿Cuál crees que es uno de los principales retos en la escena Techno en CR?

Principalmente la ausencia de espacios y la actitud de les bien posicionades en la escena son factores fundamentales por los que muchas personas DJs y productorxs no pueden avanzar de forma contundente en sus carreras. Existe mucha discriminación y actitudes súper reprochables hacia muchísimas personas trans, no binarie, de la comunidad LGBTQIA+, mujeres y neurodivergentes. Muches de nosotres provenimos de ambientes muy duros y de exclusión social y, al vernos de frente con una escena que se supone que "erradica" estas conductas pero realmente no lo hace, la desmotivación toma el protagonismo de nuestros senti-pensares.

その後北陸随一の都市金沢でもDJするようになり
2024 12/7には高岡で"大星雲"の前身となる

2025 5/2からは"大星雲"を開催
様々なTechnoに触れてきたが自分の中で1番心地いいのは（deep,dark）Techno であり、その暗い雰囲気、高音域が綺麗なサウンドをフロアに響かせている
