London based @Hyasynthe pulls up slowly building delight, Aurora. Particles shuttle around in the upper atmosphere, causing reddish and green hues to dance, all as that same sample loops over and over, building, waxing and waning. How can the producers use of Ableton 10, 808’s and your own heartstring have such an effect on the magnetic pole of the earth? we're completely unsure. 

We never thought something with so emotionally driven, and many hued could be birthed from someone hailing from Milton Keynes; what some call the Jewel of the Buckinghamshire heartland, but most consider the complete antithesis. Opposites attract, we suppose but this sonic sonnet is one to be saved, that’s for sure.

Apparel Music is the platform, Chevals the protagonist, vinyl the material, end of March 2020 is the period of time decided for the landing of the Frenchman’s first solo body of work for the “lovers dogs” label. “Be Yourself” is the title of the four tracks EP by the artist which, by the headline itself, sounds like a declaration of intentions, an acknowledgement of his qualities as a producer, shaping up four different aspects of his creative attitude in a remarkable musical effort. The EP takes off with the title
track which is a perfect display of Cheval’s capabilities when it comes to the art of developing intersecting harmonies and melodies, setting up the perfect ground for a smooth vocal line that keeps on repeating the concept in a hypnotic loop: “just be yourself”! With “Keep On” the Bpm increases to design a beat driven track that winks to northern European rhythmics in an apotheosis of upbeat acid lines, a vibey overlapping of loops we advise against light-sleepers! Side B starts with a more rhythmically classic composition called “Good Good” which is also the last of the three original tracks ; here the strings section mashes up with the vocals, as usual expertly crafted by Chevals and again some hints of acid bass line to form a proper dance floor hit. B2 is dedicated to Madcat’s remix of “Good Good”, where the French producer explains his point of view with a more funky oriented version of the track but keeping the essential parts intact. Impossible not to be excited by this EP by the Parisian producer who finally slams his fist on the table in what is his best musical statement so far.

He’s a DJ/producer from Brest, France. His musical journey began in 2012, when he first started experimenting with a DAW and playing DJ gigs with the collective TBD. After a season in the UK, he moved to Berlin in 2016, which greatly enriched his style thanks to fortunate encounters and hundreds of hours spent in the city's best clubs. In 2020 he started building his first modular synth refining his style into a subtle mixture of minimal and house, garnished with a hint of disco. His debut on the label features 3 original tracks that perfectly describe his unique sound.

Live Set Performance & Djing

Vanessa and GarcyNoise- aka Aiby & The Noise- are connected by their love for music, their passion for collecting, building  and modifying synths and currently also by this joint project in which they are showing to the world their peculiar vision of  machine-made music. These two artist, performers and DJS from Barcelona make one very real, timeless and varied music pair. They enjoy working in a traditional way and they do what they feel likedoing -and when they feel like doing it- in order to keep their creativity going.  The Noise's seriousness, order and methodology synergies with Aiby's freshness and inspiration. And they always bet on the true things, within their musical imagery where there is no space for tricks and precooked sounds. 
When performing live, The Noise (sequencers, mixes and effects) and Aiby (Vocals, synths, effects and beats) display and intense sound imagery -with their own signature- which goes from booty house, techno, house, disco and electro to deep and acid. In the dancefloor, their perfect interaction leads to the spread of tones of positive vibes and great clubby grooves among the audience. Their live act is very much alive, it is dynamic and very personal, and it is nurtured by unpublished material- their own tracks, edits, remixes and covers from other tracks that they enjoy sharing with us. 
At the recording studio, Aiby & The Noise look back with great taste, but always thinking of the future. Their sound is raw, conclusive and real. There are no style limits but their own imagination. They are currently preparing their debut álbum. But not all their electronic production is dancefloor oriented. Their creative versatility lead them to be interested in soundtrack production, and also in the immersion within more intimate spaces for musical expression. At the same time, you can enjoy their back to back underground house & techno dj sets as well as their other side when they are spinning boogie and disco records. GarcyNoise continues offering DJ sets and taking care of his label Justified Cause, and Aiby keeps on Djing and producing solo tracks also.
