Named after the weekly *Dubmission* parties at the storied E-Werks nightclub, the latest release from *Anja Schneider* relays the sounds of her earliest musical experiences in 1990s Berlin, where DJs like Kid Paul powered the party, and amplifies the techno spirit of the old electrical substation for broadcast worldwide.

Further transmissions are detected within the bubbling techno of “Revolution,” inspired by the political upheaval throughout the world, as well as shifts within the dance music scene itself, and on *“Can You Feel It,”* which features a spoken word dispatch by vocalist *Parsifal Marin* of Brussels Pony Club that continues the long house music tradition of club tunes about rave experiences.

From Mr. Finger to Miss Kittin to Seth Troxler, many of the most memorable cuts in house music history spell out, with spoken words, the experience of clubbing while in the club itself. Meta-musical moment found to be effective on the dance floor. So it goes with “Can You Feel It,” the latest by Anja Schneider to pay homage to the Chicago greats, following last spring’s Ron Hardy-inspired “Hey,” which became an instant fave when Anja dropped it at the always in demand Mobilee rooftop parties in Barcelona.

Expect the same response in summer 2014, when “Dubmission,” and flipsides “Can You Feel It” and “Revolution,” hit the ears of sun-kissed partiers worldwide.

It is one year ago that Mathias Kaden presented a very personal journey to his musical roots in the shape of an album called "Energetic". Equally as long he has been out in the world as a live act - with some large analogous luggage and the same joy of performing with which he had won many hearts as a DJ on the dancefloor beforehand. After the first batch of remixes (among others by Michael Mayer and Redshape) there are now following further revisions of three of the album's tracks. 

Finally, “Soulmakers“ and Spain again. The duo Pulshar drapes its remix in a warm dub blanket with many delays, soft strings and smoothly bouncing bass drums. The perfect conclusion to this second part of “Energetic” remixes.

"I have no words to explain the mix of feelings and emotions I felt when I received the invitation to play at White Ocean. Knowing all my favourite DJs and producers, including some of my biggest inspirations and idols would be there as well, made the experience the biggest honour of my musical career to date.

 The reality of this opportunity did not set in until I was finally up on the decks getting ready to hit the play button… 

After struggling for a few years to obtain my US visa, sharing this moment with the White Ocean family on the first night of my first Burn was surreal.

This is my small, yet very meaningful contribution to the stage I’ve always loved and admired. The memories of that night will be forever in my heart. I still dream of that beautiful crowd, and the energy of that night.

Rising talent Tibi Dabo, aka Max Guardans, brings his distinct and eloquent production to Rebellion this Summer with two tracks that will set dance floors alight across the globe. Title track La Dorada creates a brooding atmosphere with synths that weave together over industrial drum pads and an intricate, twinkling melody that descends into a crescendo of percussion. No Mantra adds a touch of elegance, with sparkling drum patterns and dreamy keys. Tibi Dabo explains that the title track is also the “the name of my childhood home near Barcelona”. By connecting his music and his hometown, or “safe space” as he calls it, he says he “can personally feel a close relationship between the two”.

As previously revealed (http://youtu.be/uiKK7ehFYtA), last summer Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen and Rasmus Stolberg visited Piramida, an abandoned mining settlement located on Spitsbergen, just 1,000km from the North Pole. Nine days of exploring later, and the band had collected over 1,000 sound recordings and inspiration for the album they would subsequently write and record in Berlin.
