Still buzzing from two weeks ago — what an honor to open and close the night for Modeselektor (@modeselektor) at Fi. 

And for everyone who couldn’t make it (or wants to relive it) — I’m happy to share the recording of my 3-hour opening set.
Deep, groovy, a little weird — just the way we like it.

This mix drifts between emotional depth and raw physicality — a carefully woven journey through ambient melancholy, broken rhythms, and industrial intensity.

Opening with textures reminiscent of Abul Mogard and Andy Stott, the set slowly breathes into motion. Pads shimmer, basses hum with restraint, and silence becomes a tool.

As the mix unfolds, echoes of Bicep-like breakbeats bring pulse and structure. The sonic landscape becomes more tactile, building tension without sacrificing introspection.

In its most intense moments, the set reaches toward the industrialized harshness of Peryl — distorted rhythms, metallic friction, and atmospheric collapse. But even here, a sense of space and emotional weight remains.

A soundtrack for late hours and deep listeners — this is not dancefloor escapism, but sonic confrontation. Beauty and brutality, hand in hand.

Kutlo is an electronic music producer and DJ who primarily focuses on Drum & Bass in its various forms and settings. Throughout his career, he has gained recognition from renowned labels such as Blackout, Eatbrain, and Renegade Hardware, among others. His versatile style of production and seamless blending of subgenres have established him as an emerging artist worth keeping an eye on. We released 6 singles on Spotify in 2019 so far.
We're working to release some more catchy vocal Dance Pop singles.
After that we are going to put them together to a new album. This is going to happen the next few months.
