I originally made this mix right at the beginning of lockdown when things were very tense/scared and people were rapidly trying to adjust. I set out to create a mix that evoked an opposing vibe to what I felt society was currently experiencing. I wanted to convey a sense of peace, healing, natural growth, relaxation, and love. This mix begins slowly, plodding along in the low 120 bpm area, and builds gradually, finding its crescendo in Format:B and Pleasurekraft's "Coltrane" which contains a speech expounding on the need to love oneself.

If you don't, it's Tuesday and it's time for new music! I am proud to present the first hour of my set from Ivy and the Poet presents: Fire Dance With Me. It was an outdoor, socially distanced event with one of the most talented regional lineups I've ever seen, and energy to make a guy smile for weeks. I played 12am - 2am on the second night, so what you're about to hear is me taking FULL advantage of the primetime slot, going all out with some dirty, dirty breaks to break up the driving, hypnotic techno. 

Buckle up, folks. This is the wildest ride I've put together, and it is guaranteed to slap your day into overdrive.

Twelve hours. That’s all it took to go from nothing to what I’d consider my best work to date. Twelve hours is all it to put together a playlist of 22 tracks, purchase them, import them  into rekordbox, and press play. No set prep, just sorted by bpm and went for it. The results far exceeded anything I could have imagined. It’s amazing what can happen when you let go of expectations and go with the flow – like dancing leaves.

I'm truly grateful. 100 Episodes is not a milestone I'd accomplish without all of you tuning in showing your love. Massive thanks to all of you, and all of the DJs and artists that have made the show what it is.
