Heyy!! I am 17 yrs old. I am a Grade 8 qualified drummer. I play guitar and piano. I also love writing my own music and editing other peoples. I have performed/recorded with artists such as Joe Dolman, Barney O'Driscoll, Tabitha Kimberly, Joseph Telecasterversion and Mackie Lawlor.

I have been drumming for about 8 years now. I got my first guitar around 11/12 years ago but never really gave any thought to it and put it away for a couple of years until around 2019/20. I now have 5 of them and am put to grade 4 standard but can play most chords and write my own solos in most keys. I also have loads of unused song lyrics (over 150) so give me a message if you're looking for inspiration. My lyrics are not to be directly copied unless I give permission.

James & The Electrics are something different in the alternative genre... or blues rock... or indie... well it's all music so just sit back and enjoy.

Birmingham-born Philip James started writing songs and playing in original bands from the age 15, appearing at Glastonbudget and the O2 Academy among other venues. Excited to learn different styles, in 2013 he left England for a voyage of musical self-discovery across America, spending several months on the road. By the time he arrived in Chicago he decided he'd gone full circle and inspired by his trek, he returned to the midlands to start a new band concentrating on creating their own kind of music.

James and The Electrics provides a vehicle for Philip’s creativity and musical experiments, calling on the wider musicianship of his blues and rock backgrounds, expanding them with a complex mixture of other styles. With this platform he’s been able to write freely to give the band a unique and distinctive sound which combines melody, techique and versatility.

A native of southern France, drummer Tommy Schell started to play at 14 years old on a kit belonging a friend and it swiftly became a real passion. Well-experienced with different bands and recording work, he also spent three years studying jazz. Trying his luck in London he played on streets, in pubs and clubs until he met Philip James and became the official drummer for James & The Electrics.

As the The Electrics' bass player, Ricky Bloom is a hard working and talented musician striving for excellence. Ricky has been involved in many musical projects in different countries around the world and he has one goal, to entertain.

Born in Belgium, Osman Grey taught himself guitar by listening to rock/blues and taking music lessons. When he was 18, he decided to make this passion his profession. He played with a lot of cover bands, also teaching guitar. At 25 years old he decided to move from Belgium to London where he joined up with James.
