Berlin based Dame Bonnet makes music influenced by post punk and cold wave and with a primitive and reverb-drenched production he creates a tragic dream for the listener to sink in to. The music has a sentimental feel to it but the pretentions are avoided thanks to the direct sound and the unremitting drums which contributes to give the tracks a forward momentum instead of a stuck in place-feeling.

Dame Bonnet makes sad club music with traces from the early eighties In England, a society ravaged by the cold individualism as a result to neo conservative politics - a time that resembles ours, where people gets categorized out of prejudice and the social welfare systems are uninstalled bit by bit in front of a sparser crowd of woke people. In Europe, now in the 2020s, a supposed dead ultraconservative monster is coming alive again and Dame Bonnets music makes the soundtrack to that process.

This release, Dame Bonnets first on Höga Nord Rekords, captures, though the songs are all instrumental, an unpleasant atmosphere in our time. The music has its roots in 1980s England but it fits perfect also for the cold present of 2020.

Introducing, Bang Bang Ritual, who list the likes of Link Wray, Sisters of Mercy and Carl Craig among their myriad influences. ‘Can’t Go On Without Ya’ is a carnival of ‘Goth-a-Billy’ guitars, motorik rhythms and analogue electronics over which the vocals of Zimbabwean émigré and Toronto resident, D.C Mathias, hang on for dear life! It’s quite a ride and we just can’t get enough.

Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge is the musical vehicle of Niklas Wandt and Joshua Gottmanns. They released a single – Ich verliebe mich nie – in 2018 and an EP entitled Leben in 2019 on the Düsseldorf label Themes For Great Cities. Now the time has come for the Berlin duo's long-awaited debut album. The 7 tracks comprising Der große Preis distil the inimitable NB sound which blends velvety synth-pop and crystalline digi-dub, basslines like cubes of glass and whiplash snares. Invisible Inc. proudly presents the latest outing by London-based electro-prog/psych/kraut entity Higamos Hogamos.
Re-Exit EP is a psychedelic mutant hybrid combining orchestral drama and psych rock to create an imaginary spaghetti western soundtrack. Had Michael Nyman and John Adams worked with David Axelrod and asked The Residents to produce it they might have ended up somewhere similar.
Features an extended mix and radio mix of the title track plus a cosmic dub remix by GK Machine and a fourth track that's possibly the oddest of the lot....Gong Fishing is a little Eno, a little Ennio...and much more.
The EP is released on the same day as the new Higamos Hogamos album "Generation Games" - an ambient epic driven by modular/vintage synths and field recordings hiding a distinctly dystopian sci-fi feel underneath its apparent beauty.
