Singer/songwriter from Dublin , Ireland.
Moved to FLorida about a decade ago to pursue my music career.
Started playing with bands in Dublin when I was 14, with a band called Indefiance. Too young to even get a drink at the bars- I used to have to change from my school uniform into my rock clothes at venues like The Rock Garden,The attic,The Fox & Pheasant and the Baggot Inn, to name just a few.
I went to performing arts college in Dublin for 3 years, trying to forge a career in musical theatre.Learning and developing skills I later use in my stage shows.
Then ,when a friend of a friend recommended me as a lead singer for an all girl group ..it all changed! At age 19 , I was an member of all girl group called Fab!.We were the quickly pinned as "the Irish Spice Girls"!! The next 4-5 years were a rollercoaster in my career. I went from playing gigs in smokey bars in Dublin city- to playing shows infront of 30,000 people. TV appearances:included opening for the legend himself Ringo Starr on the BBC national lottery show , with an audience of 7 million nationwide!!!
After success in Ireland in the charts, with song"Turnaround" reaching #7 in charts, and 3 high profile tours with boybands Boyzone & 911,extensive TV and radio play in the UK , Ireland and Japan. And numerous of shows in the Point( now the O2), the RDS and the famous Wembley arena - it was time to move on. Yet ,still to this day getting credit for radio play in Japan!!!
I decided, there's gotta be more then this.
I moved to sunny Florida and started writing music, and developed my skills on the guitar, all whilst enjoying life.
Got married, and recorded an album in St Augustine, FL with Tom Pettys drummer from the Heartbreakers ; Stan Lynch. Which is amazing...
Now, I'm currently writing music and started to play gigs on my own for the 1st time in my music career. It's exciting and new to me. My music is soft and heartfelt - mixed with strong/powerful yet haunting vocals; delivering hooky & catching songs...
My story is one of passion and love for music. Anyone who knows me , knows that I'm only happy when playing/writing music.
