As a new gate opens, the rite continues; our reach into fourth worlds and mystic imagination deepens. The Golden Triangle marks the first chapter of a two-part solo album by Siamese Twins co-founder Sunju Hargun—the first solo release on his label. Two years in the making, this deeply personal work reflects his extensive experimentation, collaboration, and grounding within an ethereal, imaginary universe.

Rooted percussion forms the foundation of these tales, with haunting patterns that evoke visions of the past—visions untethered from conventional structures. The album incorporates instruments inspired by the rhythms and grooves of Phlaeng Luk Thung, while capturing the pulse of everyday life in the kingdom of Siam.

Recorded entirely in Bangkok at TMM Studios and staying true to the label's spirit of cross-cultural interaction, the album also features contributions from visiting artists. The Golden Triangle is a personal cartography reflecting Sunju's roots, exploring new routes and means of communication toward the cosmic unknowns surrounding him.

The first chapter of the story is joined by an explorer of the underwater world, GiGi FM, who lends her voice and spirit to "Lens of Time." This collaboration came together after their cosmic connection at Rural Festival in Japan. "Mekong" features another visitor, Konduku, dedicated to beat-science and rhythmic experimentation. A drum track that's heavy on hand percussion, evoking scenes of a temple prayer with its droning tinkles and chants. "Ruak" is transcendental—an exploration of syncretic ritualism, complete with acrobatic drum beats on the flipside.

@sunjuhargun is based in Thailand and has been bringing all new energy to the Asian scene for more than 20 years. He has Indian heritage and Japanese roots which inform his mystic sound and the music he releases via the the label he co-founded, Siamese Twins Records. As he proved when he played our festival back in summer, he transcends musical and cultural borders to bring everything from, warm and percussive tribal grooves to more psychedelic sounds, acid textures and mind altering techno.

Sunju explains his approach to this week's mix. "I wanted to capture a special memory using records picked up during my trips between Amsterdam and Japan over the past few years. The result is a selection that blends the past, present, and future. As with every mix, I approach things naturally, with spontaneity. Live recordings have a unique energy that you can only feel in person, but sometimes that feeling can get lost when making a mix at home. This here is 60 mins of a raw, spontaneous reflection of friends in my living room, just hitting record and going for it. No filter, no perfection—just creativity with a limited selection.”

en la manipulación de las percusiones y todos los intermedios. Además por su versatilidad como
productor, promotor, DJ y artista audiovisual. Ha dejado su huella en la escena musical al publicar
piezas significativas en sellos destacados como Cómeme, Nervous Records, Majorettes, NEIN Records,
Amplio Espectro entre otros, sin dejar a un lado su particular técnica en la cabina.
Kodemul también explora frecuencias fuera del dancefloor con su alias Arrturra, produciendo drone y
ambient a través de la deconstrucción del sonido con el uso herramientas convencionales para dj.
Como cofundador de Por Detroit, una fiesta/rave itinerante que ha conquistado tanto la Ciudad de México
como Los Ángeles, Kodemul ha contribuido a la creación de espacios inclusivos para el acrónimo
LGBTTTIQ+. También es fundador de SED, una encuentro multiformato que busca establecer conexiones
previas al dancefloor a través de actividades como cineclubs, open decks y sesiones de escucha.
Su presencia en clubes y festivales de renombre internacional ha sido destacada. Panorama Bar,
Burning Man, Tresor, Honcho Campout, Ceremonia, Bahidorá, Folsom Fair, Bears in Space,
Recreo Festival, Trópico, House of Vans, son algunos de los espacios en los que se ha presentado.
Compartiendo escenario con artistas de la talla de The Carry Nation, Tayhana, Roi Perez, Ariel Zetina,
Dj Nigga Fox, Paurro, Regal86, Josh Cheon, Physical Therapy, entre otros nombres destacados de la escena musical.
