Based in St. Petersburg, Slutty Prty is a new label and community that resists genres and hones in the curation and sound of new artists. The platform is keen to push undiscovered producers out into the periphery and give them support to help them grow as individuals. Appearing for the third time on the Russian imprint – and practically establishing themselves as family members –, MEOWHAT is back with some cool and danceable weirdness infused with lots of different sonorities and influences.

However, before we start talking about the “Genji” EP, let’s get a little bit familiar with the men of the hour, shall we? The name of the duo comes from the amalgamation of Meowsn and Whatever, two experienced musicians who managed to establish themselves as a diligent act at the best venues in their hometown.

Their chemistry between the lads when producing has been delivering an insightful and hard-to-pigeonhole outcome, and the track premiered here, “Koi no DISCO”, is no different. The (Nu) Acid Jazz (combined with Avant-Garde, Modal Jazz, and Dark Jazz, perhaps?) atmosphere, provided by the slapping bassline, the distorted guitar riffs and the sex saxophone layer, is definitely something worth listening to and dancing to.

Mo.Ya.G is the brain child of Yalopa and Deep Moodsetter, they made their first appearance on BIG Speaker earlier this year with 'Can You Dance' and now they're back with 'House Music (All Night Long)' a deep soulful affair with all the old skool influences which you'd expect from a BIG Speaker release. Hablando comes correct with a late night work out too for good measure. One for the basement clubs and the lights down low.

Those tasty Glasgow types Manakinz (Sub Club legend Harri and Max Raskin) are back with their third EP for Monologues, filled with another three beguiling, heavyweight, innovative belters.'Electric Bob' kicks off with the dreamiest of chords and heady vocal delays floating over a chugging groove, before 'Lovely Lugz' takes things in a moodier direction with Hamish Hay's infectious afrobeat-flavoured guitar licks, tribal percussive rhythms and a stomping bass groove. 'Nifty McPherson' rounds the EP off in tripped-out style, with hypnotic FX and bugged-out synths bringing a psychedelic edge to this varied EP.

3.Longhair - Planets And Orbits

One of the underground's most exciting talents to emerge in recent years is the Oslo-based production maestro Third Attempt.  With fans like Ron Trent, Art of Tones, and Bill Brewster, he’s been dextrously merging musical aesthetics that fuse trip-hop, funk, soul, and disco. Dazzling the scene with his far-reaching music since arriving at the Beatservice fold with 'Shoreline' back in 2018, since then his ever-evolving repertoire has continued to serve up immaculate sonic surprises. The 23-year-old wasting no time making his indelible mark on the scene with his impeccable ear for constructing compelling leftfield grooves, his album 'The Novel Sound' drops in May.
Opening with the rolling 'Freak Out', where dusty strings make way for vocal samples, scratches, and searing sirens over a bass-heavy groove. The mid-tempo chug of 'Age Of Steam' evolves over a crisp, club-ready rhythm, where heavy funk guitars, dancing keys and vocal stabs cascade. 'My Girl' features an irresistible disco beat, rhythm guitars and dreamy piano chords that set the scene for rousing horns to blast off into blissful summer skies. 'Nu Funk'  drops hip hop samples, tight beats, and a delectable bass, while ‘Sunbeam Symphony’s’ keyboard solo dazzles before subsiding to a dub-infused break. 'Definite' effortlessly floats through waves of thick bass, funk guitar, elegantly used samples, and laser-tight drums. 
The trip-hop 'Nightfall' enraptures as rich chords beckon, congas cascade, mysterious melodies roll, and an exotic refrain builds before the glorious lead vocal appears. 'Working Man' drifts in to fill the space with smokey drums, weighted bass, and an enigmatic whistle, like the pages of an evocative film noir. 'Greed' hides subliminal messages casting a knowing eye over the consumer-driven world we live in and self-help culture that pervades our society. Lastly, 'Last Winter Of My Childhood' transports the listener into a hallucinatory realm, with drowsy bass notes, tripped out pads and emotive strings building to a profound and rush-inducing crescendo.

If heavy industry is a thing of the past, no-one told Identified Patient. For the past few years, he has been a one-man factory: by day, assembling component parts of acid, techno and all varieties of wave (dark, cold, minimal) on the production line; by night, a DJ dynamo pulsing with so much energy he could power a small city. His style is the kind of churning, lithe, fractured machine funk that could make Trent Reznor weep with envy – mean but clean, sinister and stomping but crucially, never overconfident or overblown. After two show-stopping performances at the parent festival last year, Signals In Snakes marks Identified Patient’s first Dekmantel release, for the technoid UFO sub-label.

Opener “The Drip” lives up to its namesake, slowly lowering elements into the field of play with partner in crime Sophie Du Palais. No prizes for guessing what exactly might be dripping through this fetishistic slow burner, so we’ll let your sordid imagination run wild. “Let Me Do It” takes the pent-up anguish and lets rip with the mood of unearthed electrical wires sending sparks flying, an upscaling of intensity that continues on “Chantal Chant.” Envisioned as the moments of tension before a gladiator fight in ancient Greece, the acidysound is that of barely restrained militant chaos. Our battered fighter’s swan-song, “Lucy’s Comeback,” marshals the dark undercurrents of bass and brings us to a close. Giving a new lick of shiny paint to a well-weathered industrial exoskeleton, Signals In Snakes is one to unify the cold-blooded villains and hot-blooded lovers all summer long.

The @Mordisco_Official DJ and production duo return to Canadian label @My-Favorite-Robot-Records for a stellar new single with quality remixes from Sascha Funke and Javi Redondo.

Angel and Hugo hail from Grenada in the south of Spain and first came together in 2011. They craft mid-tempo house, disco and techno that makes a lasting impression thanks to its opulent bass sounds, synth melodies and hypnotic percussion. They also run and are residents at their own Mordisco party as well as playing around the rest of Europe and releasing on labels like My Favorite Robot’s MFR Red Series, Paper Recordings and Midnight Riot Records.

Superb opener ‘Nocta’  has dub disco flavours embellished with slick synth work and a real sense of cosmic serenity. It’s an elongated cut that really takes you on an adventure. Whilst, @SaschaFunkeOfficial the master of warm, deep sounds is in fine form as he flips it into a mellifluous and glowing, retro tinged disco house track with rich synth layers.
