After last years huge success of "calm before the storm" with support from Armin Van Buuren, Lange, Omnia and many others, Ronski Speed the amazing Lucy Saunders decided to add some remixes to the release. 

There is not much more to say about Solis and Sean Truby. These guys are rocking the scene for some years now with their own label "Infrasonic" and countless Beatport high positions, With collaborations with Audrey Gallagher, 
Sue McLaren, Fisher and a regular appeareance in the DJ sets of the biggest DJs in the world they became our first choise for Remixing "Calm Before The Storm". The Result: simply amazing.

A key player on our label Aimoon delivers the second remix. A saw-like bass pummels away surrounded by steady percussive grooves, which then break down into a breathtaking melody heralding the arrival of a drop that blows your socks off. On the 59th edition of our blogcast, we proudly present Dubai-based artists and Blue Marlin's resident Djs > Jixo & Danz.

Known for their diversity of sounds and their unique ability to adapt their sound to wherever they play and whichever brand they play for, Jixo & Danz make their debut on Cottonmouth with this desert / saharan mix. It's been a while in the making, happy to say this podcast is finally out of the bag and on your plate.

Playing back-to-back with another DJ is a skill few people have. And we're not talking one-upping the other Dj with tunes they can't follow, we're talking about Djs that feed off each other’s tunes, energy and vibe to create a hands up, heads down affair. Jixo and Danz have made a career out of it, as the two Daniels (Jahed and Azar) work in tandem dropping everything from sunset deep house to peak time techno.

As long-term residents at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE – without doubt the number one spot in Dubai and probably the Middle East – they've had the pleasure of warming up for DJ heavyweights like Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Sven Vath, Luciano, Nina Kravitz and Art Department. Regularly playing to thousands on the fabled terrace every Friday, they’ve also played underground bastions of cool back in Beirut, their home city, including The Basement, Uberhaus and converted bomb-shelter club, BO18.

Jixo (Daniel Jahed) and Danz (Daniel Azar) have been child hood friends since school, with the tight-knit bond continuing into their first pub, bar and club gigs. Amazingly considering their packed DJ schedule, the DJ duo both work full time in Dubai’s thriving media industry. It hasn’t stopped them from taking international bookings, however, with Jixo & Danz having worked dancefloors as far-flung as Ibiza, Croatia, Malaysia and Egypt.

Musically, they’ve always positioned themselves at the deeper, groovier end of the house spectrum known for their trademark super-smooth sets, but are equally as comfortable taking it up a notch and dropping a tech-house and techno masterclass when needed. And with their back-to-back energy and peerless selection guaranteed at every gig, Jixo and Danz are proving that two heads (and four hands) is better than one.

Revelation of Sound is happy to present the next guest Niki Sadeki, very talented DJ from Canada. Niki is a Vancouver-based DJ, musician and the host of the monthly podcast series 'Allure' on Frisky Radio. Within a very short time, she has put herself on the map as an up and coming DJ. From raiding her parents’ record collection when she was just a child, to becoming resident at Vancouver’s MIA, Niki has continuously been living with the music in the forefront. Niki conveys her expression of life to listeners and engages crowds through her live sets when she’s behind the decks, and through dozens of podcasts and studio mixes.
Her sets have been described as musical journeys, charming listeners and at the same time inviting them to dive into their own individual world of sensations.
Niki has recently started the Deep House Vancouver channel in hopes of introducing artists, DJs and quality underground house music to its audience from all around the globe.
DHV is currently a channel showcasing 2-3 DJs and musicians per month through carefully crafted mixes. With her collectivist approach to music, Niki hopes to develop opportunities and expand it into a broader community which engages and unifies its listeners through the various sounds it explores.

Revelation of Sound is pleased to present the next artist from France, talented DJ named Oro. Concealed behind a stage name from one of his favorite mangas, Oro is a young 24-year-old artist who
never ceases to surprise his listeners through a collection of sets all equally different from each other.
To him, a set is to keep a pleasant and harmonious continuity by having a very complete and unique
library, but it is not all, according to him it is necessary to remain on the lookout for releases and
constantly to seek new artists.
In search of what is best for several years now and armed with his exceptional memory, Oro has
managed to conquer many lands, and his journey has only just begun. Equipped with a combo X1/Z1
from Native Instruments and a Keylab Essential 61 from Arturia at the moment, the composition of songs
should not be long to see the day in order to follow the footsteps of some artists with a unique sensibility
and creativity. Stephan Bodzin, Oliver Koletzki, Solomun or Boris Brejcha, N'to or Romulus, Oro no
longer counts all his sources of inspiration.
On every occasion and with the help of pieces ingeniously found and assembled, he offers melodious
sets, varied and unique in their kind, making everyone see eye to eye.
