Modern, Fullon, Uplifting, Melodic Psy-Trance DJ

Airavata is a psytance DJ whose sound can be defined as pure Melodic Psychedelic Bliss. Airavata can be found playing Uplifting Fullon Melodic Psytrance in his high energy sets that send dancefloors into a frenzy. Airavata currently resides in the SF Bay Area in California and the founder of the collective PSYTRANCER and event organizer for Love Nation events.

Airavata’s journey into the world of psytrance began unexpectedly when he joined the Navy at the age of 17 while living in his hometown of Deland, Florida. This was the beginning of what would be years to come of global traveling adventures. He was soon stationed across the world in Japan, and it was there that he discovered the psytrance scene in Tokyo. He began to religiously attend the weekly parties at Club Atom in Shibuyaya and underground parties in Yokohama. After hearing the uplifting melodic full-on psychedelic sounds of artists such as Astrix, Sesto Sento and Indra, among many others at these events, he fell in love with the music and knew right away he wanted to be more involved in the scene and to DJ the music himself.

Airavata soon acquired turntables and began to mix frequently and with a passion, becoming addicted to the music and discovering he was happiest when he was in the mix. Airavata then spent the next five years holding house parties and then began DJing out at local clubs. He mixed many different styles of electronica, but his true passion always prevailed and he found himself always coming back and drawn to Fullon Melodic Psytrance.

After finishing his time with the Navy, he moved to Bangkok, Thailand in late 2010, where he began to attend school at MUIC and became fluent in both Thai and Lao. He quickly met other psytrance aficionados and DJ'd for the Psyhead Community parties in Bangkok. Airavata traveled extensively throughout the country, which also led him to experience the famous Full Moon Parties on the island of Koh Phangan.

Airavata has been back in the U.S since July 2012. His years of traveling and experiences with music influenced him to be on his current life path, which involves going beyond DJing and studying music production fulltime at Pyramind in San Francisco as well as organizing the Love Nation events that specialize in the Melodic, Uplifting, Brighter Side Of Psychedelic Trance . 

This is the beginning of his new journey to bring his unique style to his favorite community and The Bay Area.
