I hadn't done a live set since last summer. In recent months I have dedicated myself mainly to production and returning to live the first need was to better define the sound. I would have liked to prepare a lighter setup, but I always realize that using two samplers allows me to better manage my intentions above the machines. What has changed from last year are the connections between the machines and a final compressor, and I have added some new tracks.

"Der Jungbrunnen" is our platform to feature a following generation of talented artists from the neighborhood and beyond. Our next protagonist is Manuel Arndt aka MaNu @dejaymanu from Frankfurt, Germany, our true long time friend, associate & supporter...

Die Leidenschaft für die Musik begleitet MaNu schon seit der Kindheit. Mit dem Auflegen startete er mit 21 Jahren. Damals experementierte er mit Reggae, Psy-Trance und Techno. Heute widmet er sich eher den langsameren Klängen. 
Mit seiner ansteckenden Lebensfreude, die er beim Auflegen authentisch rüberbringt und seiner lockeren Art nimmt er uns mit auf musikalische Reisen rund um die Welt, in längst vergangene Zeiten und manchmal auch ganz outta space.  In den letzten Jahren konnte man ihn auf so einigen Mach Mal Langsam Events erleben und auch im Schwanheimer Permakulturgarten 
ist er ein gern gesehener Freund und Gast.

Am heutigen Tag präsentieren wir euch Andi Valent. Der Resident des Hamburger Südpols, welcher oft an der Seite des Berliners ,,Yobovski" zu sehen ist, kommt heute mal solo daher. Mit Yobovski zusammen fröhnte Herr Valent viele Jahre dem hedonistischen Faultiertakt mit einem gewissen Hang zu Pitch, wobei solche Set´s zuletzt rar wurden. In den letzten beiden Jahren entwickelten beide soundtechnisch einen Groove, der eher jenseits der 120 zu verorten ist, wobei die Leidenschaft für trippigen langsamen Sound geblieben ist. In guter alter Manier kommen mit diesem Set also ein paar Slow Punch(lines) daher. Viel Spaß damit <3 "
