For the 16th installment of our podcast series, we are happy to host Amsterdam-based & one of the humans behind the sound & visual ISOTOOP crew, Van Anh. She is a regular figure of the dutch Techno scene and had already organized many notable parties on her own or with her excellent crew. The luckiest have made the trip to Under The Desert Stars, one of the numerous and extra events, Van Anh had recently helped to see the light. Van Anh has a large palette of rhythms and sounds from Ambient to Dub, Techno or Breaks with a huge capacity of adaptation that will always keep her audience focused on the dancefloor. Deepchord - Live PA

Our last episode of 2018 was recorded in Röstånga, Sweden with producer and performer @SebastianMullaert, who invited me to his studio to talk about the art of live performance and his new project, @CircleofLive.

After retiring his live duo @Minilogue in 2014, Sebastian continued recording and performing under the name Wa Wu We, before launching his new project Circle of Live. Inspired by Sebastian's love of improvisation, jam sessions, and creative collaboration, Circle of Live debuted officially at this summer's @Freerotation Festival, and I had the pleasure of attending one of their events in Malmö, Sweden, a couple months ago. Our conversation for AIR traces Sebastian's interest in live performance as a kid to his new venture to his presence and performance in 2018.

A Dj/producer from Okinawa, Japan. Now based Berlin. Iori’s musical career started up in Naha, Okinawa in the late 90′s. He went to New York in 2003, and later on headed back to Japan after serving as a project coordinator for The Loft under David Mancuso. Taking Okinawa as center, Iori is famed in both Japan and stages around the world at the present. As deeply influenced by True Deep house, Manuel Gottsching, Moritz Von Oswald, and Basic Channel, Iori does not only present sets ranging from House to Techno but is also proficient in alternative deep sets. 
Characterised by the heavy and bouncy rhythms , grand atmospheric synth layers, He has already established his unique sound in the European techno / house circuit.

His past release have fancied by international DJs such as Cio D'or, Kirk Degiorgio , Nick Hoppner , Mike Parker , Sigha , Levon Vincent, and enthusiastically supported by many domestic underground Djs Like DJ NOBU…
