It's always challenging to "wake" a stage. And this day it was! Getting ready at the decks, i discretly glanced at the dancefloor to only find not one, not two, but three sleepers comfortably installed on the cozy sofas of the Shala Playgrounded Stage

My goal was set! these sleepers must get up. But not at once. By slowly distillating the music into their minds to the point getting up becomes irresistible.

Ok, i quickly lost sight of these three fellows so i'll never know if i succeeded, but i like to think i did. 

Thanks to all the dancers & friends who were present during my set, including the ones that arrived right at the end ;) As always, eternal love to the artists who produced the tracks i played that day.

And much love to the O’Tawa team for inviting me to be part of this adventure again..

For this Botanas we had the pleasure of inviting German producer Timboletti, the man behind the Confetti Club Ensemble and the Copycow label. In his own words Timboletti´s music is "an organic amalgamation of traditional, hand-played music and the digital functionality of House beats." 

These two tracks are beautifully crafted slices of reimagined electronic music, a love letter from the dancefloor to South America: inspired by travels, by places and by experiences from the beaches of Southern Mexico to the rest of the continent. 

This Botanas is all about the birds flittering in the palm trees above, the deep warm kicks below, the slow build ups, snippets of guitar and basslines that will be in your head or on the dancefloor all summer / winter ;).
