We are delighted here at Cities, to welcome back US-based singer Hidden Tigress, this time working in collaboration with Ukraine-based producers A.L.Y.S. to deliver a phenomenal new release.

This amazing track combines a growling techy bassline with fantastic leads and subtle touches of melodic detail with an inspiring vocal performance to produce a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Joining these accomplished artists on this release are two revered label veterans: Canada-based Andrew Lang and Poland-based 5irius7. Both artists have delivered stunning remixes, Andrew Lang creating a spectacular melodic trance interpretation of the original, whilst 5irius7 gets down and dirty with a brilliant deeper interpretation.    

Returning in style with a huge new release here on Cities, this is A.L.Y.S. & Hidden Tigress (with Andrew Lang and 5irius7) and their remarkable new track "Golden Sunrise".

A.L.Y.S. & Hidden Tigress - Golden Sunrise (5irius7 Extended Remix) [ECT228]

The 152 edition of the One Synth Challenge with WhispAir by Full Bucket. Went techno this time.

Most effects are Ableton Live but there are some Pro Q3s, Pro L2s and a Pro MB, a few Soundtoys effects - Echoboy Jr and PanMan - and Zeek's STFU.

All sounds were made using Full Bucket Audio's Whispair wavetable synthesizer for KVR Audio's One Synth Challenge #152 (Electric Boogaloo)

I asked a fellow member about his amazing guitar patch he'd created and once I realised how to use the various wave tables I was able to create a semi-realistic bass guitar patch using a few instances and a couple different slap wavetables that came with the synth.

The guitar feedback patch was created from several instances of the built in chorus's feedback each instance tuned using the chorus's delay.

OSC 152 Voodoo Boogaloo

I haven 't finished the track for six months and... this one almost became one of them. But for some reason I did it... as always, a little rough (maybe not a little), problems with volume and figs knows what kind of music, everything is for your pleasure or suffering!

So, here are 20 instances of WhispAir.
Windows 7 64bit, Cakewalk.
Effects: DX Reverb Light, Airwindows Purest Echo, Verberate Basic 2, Freeverb 3 Reverb, Bass Professor MkII, ReaEQ, OTT, Nova-67P, FALSE:FI, Wider, JB Barricade, it seems everything...

All presets from Init (including my own Init, hihi), except for two hats that I borrowed from J.Ruegg (huge thanks!) and changed it for my music. In my patches, I used the included wavetables, as well as several external (not real instruments), mainly Brown Noise WT from Matt Tytel.

P.S. That there are places, prizes, pfft... I fulfilled my local dream - I made a Rock'n Roll track in OSC, with guitars... Viva la Musica! It's still not what you expect, but I'm happy!
