All sets are created with hours of listening and tweaking to make sure they have just the right elements to work in both a musical context and in a mix. A typical set involves hours upon hours of work finding a synthesizers "sweet spots" and then making the most use of these.

Largo - Drive is a new 64 preset soundset for Waldorf Largo. Still in the works but soon to be released. 

When I was younger my brother and I would hit the road. It didn't matter where, there was no destination. As the day would draw to a close and the evening would set in, the roads became dark and all you could see were the endlessly moving lines of the road. I would lose myself in thought and the music while my brother would drive.

This is for those tracks that endlessly flow together, seamlessly morphing from one song to another. 

Much use of the drive knob of course.

You may use free and stock FX, but for mixing purposes and not to drastically alter the sound of the synth, or do sound design that you can't do with the synth alone.

I decided to put the Pro-2 to test.  The track is 100% Pro-2 except the drums.  Some Eq, compression and external reverb applied but nothing crazy.

The first in a new series for DUNE 2, Spice Vol.1 delivers 70 quality sounds, suitable for Trance, Electro house, Psytrance, Ambient and other electronic styles.  It also includes the MIDI from the demo!

The sound design uses the new analog modeled envelopes in version 2.5, as well as the excellent effects, deep mod-matrix and the independent control of unison voices. The results are rich and thick, and can easily fill out a mix. Huge supersaw leads, dense and lush pads, deep and punchy basses, interesting texture patches, and variety of leads and plucks of character make this bank a great expansion for Dune 2.

This bank features 70 sounds in total: 7 Arps, 20 Basses & Bass sequences, 18 Leads, 11 Pads, 10 Plucks & 4 Sequences.

Patches feature Modwheel assignment and various patches are sensitive to velocity. Also included are royalty free MIDI files and the Ableton Project with the parts arranged as heard in the demo.

Bringing out the best of Dune 2, this banks makes use of the latest features from version 2.5 and builds on the collection of the first volume by focusing more on the digital textures of Dune 2 produced via wavetables and FM. It is decidedly darker in character than Vol.1 with more emphasis on atmospheric elements and edgy sounds.

well ... i really love the emulation of the Roland Jupiter-6 in DIVA ... sounds awesome !!
