gn886 (Acronym of Good Night Good Bye)is an electronic musician/producer and visual/craft/installation artist from Beijing. 

My passion for music started when I was young listening to artists like Boards of Canada, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Fresh Moods, PFL, Recloose, Lawrence, Stewart Walker, Anders Ilar, Kettle, Visit Venus, Funki Porcini and many others. 

The New - A List is a Minimal, IDM, Electronic album base on my passion for constructivism and minimalism. I like to use mechanical sounds create melodic electronica represents a journey through sound and I got this idea from my life in Beijing contrast with modern with traditional lifestyle. What I provide here is an experimental auditory sense transform form visual memory will recall or feel the vibe. The album was made by Maschine and I used soft/hardware synths, sampling etc. of processing. 

I also had live show performance since 2014 dominate by Ambient, House, IDM, Techno. Usually, I used Tracktor DJ software or analog/digital synths, Drum machine and live software. 

At present, I am trying to combine the music and visual arts. I was influenced by Pariah - signal loss, Gaspard de La Motagne - Alpes, Maxcooper - Echoes Reality 4D, LIN/LOG - Hypnose etc. These music videos lead me to a tendency to interactive design rather ordinary sounds. I was fascinated by grid/lines/pixel/gradient/blur/sort effect to recreate my works when I was abroad recording/photograph my journey. 

I like complicated structure so I do string art and installation in leisure time. Conceive pattern/lines/shape help me being more rational and I feel peace and vigorous.
