Love ZZ Top and most 70s hard rock, blues, funk, rap, even punk. I admit I also have a secret love of House and dance music..sorry.
I live in Melbourne Australia and have a pretty serious job- so need an escape, well this is mine.
I have been teaching myself guitar and  bought an Epiphone Les Paul gold top, a Jackson flying V, a Jackson Explorer and a Cheap ass acoustic guitar. I put together and relicked a Telecaster with high output components (cover pic) and play most later tracks on that. 
I was lucky enough to be given my father's 70s Frampton bass guitar and I have been playing it on the later tracks.
I record on a simple Ipad using Amplitube or Garage Band apps
I write and sing ALL my own music and lyrics and play all guitar (drums etc are sequenced by me on the Amplitube or Garage Band Apps).
Yeah Its rough as F&^K  - but for me that's kinda the point to it all. I figure doing it all myself is like having my own band but there are no arguments with any band member as to the creative direction..
