Hello, everyone! It's Brandon once again; are you doing well? It's Friday, and with it comes the end of the work week for many, giving us plenty of reasons to celebrate. Let's add to that celebration with a surprise upload on the channel!

Tonight's upload, titled "One Rainy Day," is an intense, interesting, and somber rendition of my critically acclaimed track "Tears In The Rain".

Initially created as an emotional anthem for Sans, "Tears In The Rain" captured the atmosphere of an unexpected fight against Sans during his dinner date with the player. The entire scene in UNDERTALE created a serious tension that confronts you with the reality of Sans' true character. "Tears In The Rain" took that concept a step further by introducing a fight sequence at that moment depending on the player's actions and how they affected Sans overall, and "One Rainy Day" still aims to fulfill that same purpose. Enjoy a recollection of memorable UNDERTALE themes for Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Asgore, and even the mysterious character Gaster, alongside smashing choir tones and a brand new composition that will excite you every moment it plays.

- "Tears In The Rain" was initially redone in 2019, but never released publicly.
- Over two years after the re-do, "One Rainy Day" was spontaneously done over the course of about two days in about fourteen hours overall.
- The intro uses a few spliced samples from "Why Can't We Live Together" by Timmy Thomas. Not only does the name of the song capture one of the biggest themes of UNDERTALE, it was also the same song sampled in "Hotline Bling" by Drake.

Hey! This track actually was an old Sans Hopes and Dreams that I started working on a bit after HPtU v2, but then immediately dropped because of I had no idea where to go with it. Then a few days ago, I started thinking about what a unique Sans HnD would sound like and moreso why Sans would fight the human if he were in Asriel's place. You know how Sans mentions he gave up on "going back" while not in referring to the surface? Basically, I thought that, with the power of a god, he could possibly "go back" to wherever that is. The point of this fight helping Sans come to terms that "going back" (literally and figuratively) isn't an option so he doesn't destroy the current reality as we know it.
It's an interesting kind of situation that I don't think has been explored that too much in AUs. Beyond that, it's a take on a unique Sans HnD that is *kind of good* in my opinion like how Megalo Fever was a very good take on a Sans BAaTH. Hope you guys enjoy! Cya!

[Sans is located at the top left of the room, near the panel of (presumably) the extractor.]
[As soon as Chara enters the room, a cage of Blue bones appears on them.]

[SANS]:
* let's just get this over with.

[A battle is triggered.]
[Sans fades in, his face completely obscured by darkness.]

[A few seconds later, the Determination Extractor appears right behind him.]
[You hear it starting up. Rapid, sequenced electrical sparks emit from the wires of the machine.]
[After successfully booting up, an ominous red glow appears on the machines eye sockets.]

[It starts to shake violently.]
[Chara, unable to move, gets a huge chunk of Determination taken from their SOUL and harvested into the machine.]
[The machine then stops. The process was successful, but Chara hasn't died yet. They still have enough determination to keep a good grip on the world.]

[The battle starts.]

well, hello, everybody.
today is a very important day for me, because I decided to combine two events into one. first of all, 300 followers. like, holy shit, I don't even know how to react. that's a very big number for me. i can't thank everyone personally, but I want everyone who reads this to know that I love you all. thank you so much for continuing to listen to my music and continuing to be with me.
and secondly, it's also my birthday today, and, uh. there's not much I can say about it. i'm not happy but I'm not sad. i'm 16 now. i don't know, I just don't know.
anyway, I've worked very long and hard on this track, doing a whole bunch of different versions and losing over 2 years. yeah, the second version is already fucking 2+ years old. but I'll be honest, I'm very proud of what came out.
