I wasn't going to play this at my show, I never intended on releasing this edit. After I heard we lost Charlesthefirst I couldn't not do a tribute to him in my set last night. The crowd response was more than enough for me to have to release it. Bumping his insane rework of Minnesota's Hilow with the whole crowd gave me, and I hope some others, a lot of peace with losing him before his prime.

Still can't believe it. Seeing Charles add his own vocals to his bass-heavy tracks made me feel less alone as an artist. It curved my anxiety of performing my raptsep songs live and inspired me to dive deeper into my own sound. Bending genre and minds, he was on his way to becoming massive with an already-building cult following of fans. I'm so broken-hearted for him and his fans. I couldn't imagine what goes through an artist's head the days before their own first curated show at the Caverns. He had what I imagined his dream fulfilling in front of him, I wish he were around longer for him and all of us to be a part of it. 

This one's for you Charles.
