Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, Devon Parker has been performing and creating music with deeply rooted passion and spirit expressing elements of R&B, Funk, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Gospel, Hip Hop, and Electronica. Her childhood spent surrounded by a family of musicians made it clear that Jazz, Motown and the Blues were in her blood. Devon’s father, a touring keyboard player, performed for many years under the Warner Brothers-Reprise label. Devon’s Uncle Tony Klatka, was a trumpeter and arranger for Blood, Sweat and Tears, Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, and Wayne Cochran. With her ability to draw from her unique life experiences and her musical roots, Devon Parker delivers an unmistakably soulful voice. Her influences include Chaka Khan, Erykah Badu, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Sarah Vaughan, Prince, Jill Scott, D'Angelo, Aretha Franklin, Kim Burrell.
Devon began her music career fronting The Nu-Classics, a funk Organ trio out of Fort Collins, who has shared the stage with George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, Snarky Puppy, Victor Wooten, The Pimps of Joytime, The Motet and many others. 
Over the last 5 years she performed as a guest singer with Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe during their annual Halloween shows in Colorado, and sang at Bear Creek Festival covering The Rolling Stones album "Sticky Fingers" with Anders Osborne and Karl Denson.  Devon also toured as a guest vocalist with the West Coast Hip Hop innovator Del The Funky Homosapien (Deltron 3030, Gorillaz, Heiroglyphics). 
Devon is Front-Singer for the Colorado-based band Analog Son, originally a brainchild studio project of Jordan Linit (Kinetix/Ableminds) and Josh Fairman (Kinetix) involving The Shady Horns (Lettuce, Soulive), Joe Tatton (The New Mastersounds), and Ivan Neville (Dumpstaphunk).  Analog Son has released two “Future Funk” albums featuring over 40 different incredible musicians and collaborations, and are now signed on the Madison House Productions roster.  
Devon also won Best Female Vocalist - Independent Music Awards Southwest Region - 2014
As well as singing, Devon Parker writes and records progressive original music. She has been collaborating with Berlin based producer Jim Dunloop to record the long anticipated "Opus 76 BPM" album featuring MC Squair Blaq (Chicago) and other talented US based artists.  This album has been touted as a "truly genius musical composition of modern Hip Hop, Neo-Soul, and Jazz".  Soon to be released in Europe on BBE Records in the winter of 2015.
