“EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE- A Tribute to STING & The Police” is a tribute band performing the hit songs of the 70’s and 80’s Rock icons Sting & The Police.

New York’s Finest started as a dare for a classic album tribute night in New York City. “Challenge: Can you guys perform The Police’s 1st album”? Challenge accepted!

NYF highlight The Police’s early punk rock roots through to their more sophisticated material on the later records and Sting's solo catalogue. All the while staying true to the 3 band member line up. NYF taps into the signature style of The Police's funky reggae pop rock grooves and adds a modern flare to the sound that became a phenomenon the world over. 

“NYF” features Mark Rinzel  of “Jessie’s Girl” The worlds hottest 80’s tribute band. Mark is one of the few humans who can play bass and sing like 70’s/80’s era Sting.

“NYF” spotlights Oscar Bautista session and broadway orchestra guitarist recreating the sonic landscapes that guitarist Andy Summers designed for The Police. 

“NYF” showcases Producer/Engineer Alan Camlet on drums delivering the ferocity and infectious grooves of Stewart Copeland. 

“New York’s Finest” performs in New York City and the surrounding East Coast. Additionally the tribute show has traveled abroad to Brazil in South America where they were met with sold out appearances in clubs, theaters and music venues.
