As a daughter of a Swiss mother and a Ghanaian father, Ajele was born and raised in Switzerland, where, at the age of eighteen, she got introduced to the electronic music scene. Soon she realized there were hardly any female DJs. 
Now that was something she strived to change ! 

The decision was made and the first records, decks and a mixer were bought. Vinyl shopping became an addiction and playing them a passion.

Since 1996 she's an inherent part of Zurich's electronic music scene and her versatile and solid music style has given her many opportunities to open the night.

Not sure what happened to me that night but playing these tunes down at the Gallery was giving me a feeling of loosen some old bonds... This set I've mainly played for myself, although there were people... I can not explain well enough the feeling of freedom I experienced that night... Thank you Kasheme for giving me the space to just be. Happy and thankful to dive into music and experience a healing journey

It’s worth the long wait, especially when it comes to Ambient, don’t rush it - it’s not fast food music. Here at Sofa Beats we love it slowly cooked and that’s what Christian Samsara gave us. Beside being a good friend he is a Danish-born DJ and avid records collector, embarked on his journey into electronic music during his early teenage years. It was during this time that he stumbled upon the ambient genre, which swiftly blossomed into his profound passion and eventually led him behind the decks.
Throughout the course of his DJ career, Christian has graced numerous festivals and events worldwide. Additionally, he has curated countless mixes for well-known podcast channels and shows such as Inveins, Campfire Stories by Silent Season, 꿈 Kkum, Orb Magazine, just to name a few, revealing his expertise in ambient, downtempo, IDM, and deep techno. His mixes are characterized by a unique blend of abstract cinematic soundscapes and intricate layers of organic textures.
In 2015, Christian Samsara became a part of Ultimae Records, his first compilation, "Isolated," was released in 2022 and he currently works on a second chapter to be released in 2024.

Each day and night are different, the people, the mood, the emotions... This was planed to be an emotional freedom ride but life is not always happening the way it is planed. So the result of this session is an "emotional ride". Openness is the key and accepting the situation as it is, seeing the good in it, seeing the opportunity to learn and grow... The night of 14.12.2024 was an emotional ride and so was the whole year. I am thankful for each lesson I've learned and there were many! Thankful for every night I was invited to my beloved Kasheme to express my emotions with music. Thankful for the people I've met and who understand what story I am trying to tell... And yes the cover picture is on purpose because seeing life from another perspecitve sometimes can help ;-) wishing you a happy ending of 2024 and a good start into a transformative new year! Let's do this!

Der Frühling ist so langsam in unsere Gefilde eingezogen und erhellt unser Gemüt🌈🌦 Passend dafür haben wir für unsere neuesten Igelkarussell Mix von Nacho Pitchu (International Soundclash und Kollateral), eine unvergleichliche musikalische Reise durch die zahlreichen Facetten des Monats März bekommen.
Er ist dafür bekannt, eine ganz eigene Interpretation von entschleunigter elektronischer Musik zu zelebrieren - Seine Mixes leben besonders von zahlreichen organischen Elementen, die der Weltmusik zuzuordnen sind. Dadurch bekommt man als Zuhörer oft das Gefühl, eine musikalische Weltreise durch viele Kulturkreise der Erde zu bestreiten🌍
Sein Mix für uns hält einiges parat und funktioniert nicht nach dem gewöhnlichen Grundverständnis vieler Downtempo Sets… Viele verschiedene Genres und Einflüsse finden innerhalb der 90 Minuten ihren harmonischen Einklang. Ihm gelingt es dabei ein ums andere Mal Tempowechsel und Genres so zu mischen, sodass diese zu Einem verschmelzen. Das ist ihm für unseren Märzpodcast zweifelsohne sehr eindrücklich gelungen🌷
