A “Nixie”, according to Scandinavian folklore, is a shapeshifting water spirit. Disguised as human, Nixie’s were known for playing enchanting music to lure people into their lakes, streams and waterfalls where they would proceed to drown them. 

Much like her name, NIXIE is an enchanting and devilish character who fancies the faster hynotic flavours, as well as the whomp and chunk in all things bass, whilst luring in her audience with the perfect slice of cheese that you just can’t seem to pass up on. Encapsulating those that she dances with, NIXIE’s loving and playful energy fuses her to that relationship formed with those sharing the experience. She is brave and unique in her approach to entertaining her environments and her specialities come in many forms of delicious bass, drum & bass and techno. 

NIXIE adores performing for an intimate audience and has been seen at a handful of local doofs, as well as underground parties in Sydney city thus far, including; Dragon Dreaming, Burning Seed, BassCamp, Church of Techno, Art Valley, Soul Synthesis,  Roots, The Kibbutz, Free Range Gathering, Convergence & more.

Along with this she is well-known for her project ‘DOUBLE DIP’, partnering in crime with ‘FUNCLE’, these two have seen the main stage at Dragon Dreaming, The Kibbutz, Art Valley, Magnum Opus and are lined up for much more later this year.

SHTUBY’s music is pure trance beats with fusion of jazz, bass and oriental world sounds. His unique sound design along with a world-class performance will take you through a special experience.

SHTUBY’s show is an immersive, eye-catching experience that demands attention. The combination of electronic sounds, visual elements and mesmerizing stage presence will instantly transport you to a state of euphoria. 

Shtuby's show also features fascinating instruments  such as the theremin which emits sound from space without physical contact. In addition, the EWI flute fills in oriental sounds, making the whole performance beautiful and extraordinary.

Music producer and DJ, and proud trans woman, Jemma (Ajem) has an instatiable lust for bush techno and psytech, with its balance of intensity and spacious beats to inspire creative movement. She has a taste for music that evokes feelings, thoughts, and a sense of wonder and play. She invites you on deep journeys into warm and dark psychedelic sound scapes and thumping techno beats. Her intention is to create spaces where we connect deeply to our bodies and each other through sound and movement. Expect to be held captive by hypnotic grooves and filthy subfrequencies. She has played at various bush doofs around Sydney, including Dragon Dreaming, Art Valley, Weaselstock, Tribe Ascension, Earthen Rhythmics and Vyoma.
