We begin in Kingston, the heart of reggae and dub, where the basslines throb, the drums echo, and the melodies mesmerize. As we journey to Goa, Jamaican dub blends with psychedelic influences, creating a dreamy and expansive soundscape. Returning to Kingston, we carry a newfound appreciation for the depth and versatility of dub, its rhythms and textures resonating with a fresh perspective.

For our 46th session we welcome Moscow born artist, and long time IAS favourite -- Anton Kubikov.
This captivating vinyl only selection features minimal component parts, dub undertones and warm sub driven frequencies. Anton, a mainstay in the dub techno scene, part of the influential production duo, SCSI-9 and founding member of PRO-TEZ label
Much of his selections these days feature records from his Prague owned record store RANDOMART Vinyl.

AJ Fourier, aka DJ Scoody, is a Dutch electronic music veteran with a passion for sonic exploration that spans decades. His journey began in his youth, collecting vintage hi-fi gear and meticulously crafting mixtapes from pirate radio recordings. In the early '90s, he immersed himself in the burgeoning Dutch house scene.

At the young age of 24, AJ Fourier's entrepreneurial spirit led him to organize successful parties in his hometown of Heemskerk at Donkey Shot under his early DJ name DJ Scoody , the parties were named Trancedance. These bi-monthly events attracted renowned DJs of the era, including Marcello, Dimitri, Remy, and Isis and many others solidifying his presence in the local scene.
His DJ career has also taken him to a variety of clubs and venues in the Netherlands and the EU, including de Waakzaamheid, Donkey Shot (Heemskerk), Mazzo, Hemkade, Latido, Palace, Club Stalker (Haarlem), Bazz (Haarlem), and Lichtfabriek (Haarlem), among many other venues and partys true out the years

His passion for music technology led him to open The Art of Sound in 2002, a DJ/producer store in Alkmaar.

With over 35 years of DJing experience, AJFourier aka DJ Scoody continues to share his love for music through a weekly mix show available on Soundcloud and Mixcloud. 
These mixes showcase his large private vinyl and digital record collection, spanning from early house music gems from 1988 to a broad spectrum of house styles, reflecting his enduring passion for the genre.



Today, AJ Fourier captivates audiences both as a DJ and through live performances. Behind the decks, he seamlessly blends genres, ranging from dub, reggae, deep house, and house classics to early trance, progressive house, tech house, and techno. His live performances weave intricate soundscapes using modular synthesizers, drum machines, and external effects. His signature sound blends ambient atmospheres with broken beats and ethereal dub chords, creating a truly unique and immersive experience.
