あるとき一人の少年がこれを盗み、街に雪を降らせた。病床にある幼馴染の少女が最期に雪を見たいと望んだからだ。やがて少女は息をひきとり、絶望した少年は「空統儀」を駆動させたまま深い谷底に捨てた。雪に埋もれた「空統儀」は発見不可能となり、やがて街は誰も足を踏み入れることのない万年雪の世界へと変貌した。
