After half a year of VGM covers and experimental chiptunes, I decided to bring back FamiTastik and gauge my learnings during these months. Following the spirit of Vol.1, FamiTastik Vol.2 is a collection of stories yet untold and sceneries yet unseen narrated through videogame music.

Music made entirely with Dn-FamiTracker using the VRC6 expansion chip (without using any samples in the DPCM channel) and no post-processing whatsoever, apart from some gentle volume leveling and limiting. The .nsf file containing all of the compiled tracks is included with the album.

Only appearing on our compilations before, Lavande makes her debut solo appearance on DESKPOP with the cold and compelling "Blossom" EP. Sounding the way a flower blooming within a wasteland looks, these six tracks follow the arc of growth and decay in Lavande's own type of sonic narrative.

this is a collection of these things i would do live with a laptop stacking the harmonies up with a loop pedal plugin . i think its nice fun music. my friends have called it such words as "dreamy" and "cinematic"
