We started this track back in January 2025 and finished in June. We decided to go with an 'anything goes' approach, trading midi files back and forth and building upon each other. Ended up rendering my project for the final product using SNES soundchip emulator C700 and a mix of rompler plugins (Roland MT-32, MSGS, Sound Canvas, JV-1080). It was very, very fun for one of my first full-on collabs and I learned so much.

Want to give my thanks and appreciation to STAFFcirc as a whole. From being an avid SoundCloud listener of this sphere of music many years ago to participating within it now, I feel quite happy and in slight disbelief, haha. Thank you once again.

What an honour to create a track for STAFFcirc’s 10th anniversary. I’m extremely grateful to Sergio and the gang for allowing me this privilege. After a few false starts trying to create a serene pondy atmosphere I eventually changed course and settled on something loud and rhythmic, imagining a circle of frogs fervently dancing around a small fire made of twigs. A night of froggy passion, croaky wailing and spawn flying. The main synth chord part was made by resampling a bounce of one of my previous serene attempts, chucking it into Serum 2’s spectral synth. Here’s to many more years of froggy fun.

0:40 - mobilization; the space frog fleet assembles
0:58 - blast off into the hyperswamp!
1:14 - funky anomalies, a ballroom dance with the marsh dwellers...
1:48 - commander newt of the marsh enters the field; a battle breaks out!
2:33 - no match in pure might, the frog fleet turn to their wits; they slip away with a prized artifact...
2:50 - a frantic chase breaks out, the frog fleet narrowly escapes!
3:06 - a light at the end of the tunnel...
3:24 - sighs of relief, and a moment to savor the surprise victory
3:56 - the fleet, returning to their home pond, are hailed as heroes by all!
4:18 - the mystical energies of the artifact... a glimmering conclusion to space frog civilization's latest voyages
