The first track, “Murder Tune”, is aptly named. Tribal drums flow through the track filling listeners with the distinct and unsettling feeling that they are not only lost in a Forest, but have suddenly gone from hunter to hunted. Heavy doses of deep synth stylings penetrate the track, and unique twists on classic Dub vocal samplings fill the empty spaces, which adds to its status as a true head-banger. The track seems to move in stages, bringing the listener into and out of a haunting kind of euphoria before dropping us into a melee of buzz-saw synths.

The title track “Snake” brings us face-to-face with the realization that what hunts us is what we fear the most. Beginning with a sinister vocal narrative of the “Snake”, it slowly builds to a climax until the beat hits like a direct strike. The toxic bass of “Snake” rips through the skull and races through the body. Intermittent Hardstyle sections increase the complexity by breaking up the Dubstep beat structure and then moving us into the next phase of the track. The result is a frenetic state of bass driven insanity.

The Greek boys have taken the scene by storm, playing continuously at parties and festivals worldwide for years. This album was written in their two studios in London and Thessaloniki, which showcases their diverse and dance-floor orientated style. Their music could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. This release includes collaborations with Daksinamurti, Nektarios and Jumpstreet, mastered by Micky Noise and with absolutely stunning art by Mute Illustration. A Dancefloor Odyssey

Ajja is an eclectic and multi-talented Swiss artist who channels his creativity through parallel careers as musician, producer, label manager, graphic artist, software developer and painter.

Ajja played his first big psychedelic trance gathering in December 2002 on the main stage of the Outback Eclipse Festival in Australia, during a full solar eclipse.

In 2005, Ajja started a solo project under his own name. He quickly became known for delivering groovy psychedelic trance, crossing genres to attract people from a broad range of styles. His debut studio album “Psychogenica” was released  in 2007 on Syncronize Records, followed by “Tulpa” in 2012 on Peak Records and the mid-tempo album “Spira Mirabilis” in 2017 on T.I.P. Records.

Since 2006, Ajja has released over a hundred songs under various names, including many collaborations with other well-known musicians and producers, spanning a wide range of styles.

Although he has regularly performed at major events around the world and is used to a heavy touring schedule, he still enjoys small, intimate parties and clubs just as much.

An energetic, enthusiastic and gifted being, Ajja is an artist not to be missed!
