The LA based artist has been honing his own dark twist on modern electronic music since 2011, with heavy drum production, dense, cinematic synth buildups and high-pitched, echo-laden vocals. His aesthetic lies somewhere in between the worlds of slow house, industrial dance and drony avant-pop earning comparisons with the likes of CARIBOU, MATTHEW DEAR and TORO Y MOI. 

The AS MUCH AGAIN EP is KAUF's most substantial release to date and (much like the artwork) paints a dark, but distinctive picture of the man himself, as a unique and undeniable talent. The EP kicks off with two slow-building, hypnotic pop songs; IN TOW and THE CLOSEST. Then the energy switches up a notch with his percussion-heavy slow-dance anthem; RELOCATE. Things reach a climactic conclusion with the sun peaking over the horizon, but the party still in full swing as WHEN YOU'RE OUT unfurls it's snake-like arpeggiators and bewitching rhythm track, up to the heavens, then slowly back down to earth. Maybe it feels like dusk… or maybe it's more like dawn; it probably doesn't matter. AS MUCH AGAIN will be the perfect soundtrack.

Belgium’s music scene has few cornerstones. R&S set a first in the 80s, Soulwax came in the 90s and Eskimo emerged in the early 00s, its evolution since more colourful than all of them combined. Taking music into emotion, introducing new names and spotlighting the cream of the current crop, ‘The Orange Collection’ is bright, genial and buoyant. 

‘The Orange Collection’ is the latest installment in a new compilation series on Eskimo based around colours. Following the lauded first three chapters in this enterprising series -Pink, Blue and Green- Eskimo once again selected 12 songs with exquisite care. An effortless journey encompassing a range of sounds through indie dance, nu disco and electronica, it’s reassuring to find that Eskimo still stands for timeless quality and originality.

3615 Nuits Blanches are back! The Parisian duo gets just in time before the end of the year with a last (re)touch on their first album. Consider this as a final 2017 Holiday treat!

When About Last Night, their first LP was released last March, the duo received a lot of requests for longest and club-friendly versions. That what motivated Antonine & Arnault to work on a brand new version of their album, with another vision in mind.

Like an imaginary Goldfrapp tune extended by Shep Pettibone, or John Jellybean Benitez doing a dub version of a Chromatics’ track, these new versions work well everywhere. Especially in the clubs.
