Fast Life (A Miami Vice ’85 Conceptual Score)” is an instrumental electronic journey built around speed, atmosphere, and cinematic momentum. Drawing from the unmistakable synth-driven language of 1980s film and television, the track reimagines that era through a modern production lens where vintage electronic textures meet a futuristic sense of scale and movement. 

Pulsating rhythms, melodic synthesizers, and evolving layers create the feeling of a nighttime pursuit through a city caught between two eras. Designed as a conceptual score rather than simply a throwback, “Fast Life” explores what the sound of 1985 might have become if the future had arrived early.

MDRJR — Harmonic Heart Records

Every song, every rhythm, every melody, every lyric, written and captured on a four-track recorder and a cassette tape.

I began writing in the 1980s. Analog tape. Bounce after bounce. Layer after layer. I wrote through the 1990s, through the 2000s, and I have never stopped. Over 2,000 songs. Every lyric, every melody, every guitar part, every rhythm, written by me, and preserved on tape.

Those original cassette tapes are kept in a lock box. They only come out when I am ready to create something new.

I trained the AI using my own material. My own recordings. My own voice. My own songs. Some of my projects use different voices. But every one of them was created under my direction, using my style, my melodies, and my creative vision. The songwriting is mine. The ideas are mine. The AI is a production tool, nothing more.

I am a husband. A father. A veteran. A songwriter. I have played in thrash bands, alternative bands, and tribute bands. I have opened for bands that got their break. I have stood next to people who got theirs. I never got my turn, until now.

My music is for hope, healing, love, forgiveness, and getting back up. I write for the ones who feel alone, the ones who are fighting, and the ones who need to hear that they are going to be okay.

The technology changed. The songwriter did not.
