A persona in the like of AJ.theReal is not something that we see in the industry often. Coming from a background of accomplished keyboardist or pianist, his first step in the music industry was as an artist in a gospel band 3PM (Unto You | 2010 Indonesia Gospel Award, Best Album) and releasing a PostBop Electric Jazz EP, DIGThis~! with Tesla Manaf in 2011. Interesting is the fact that being a keyboardist is not his true identity. In his heart and soul, his love and aspiration is always in the art of Rhyme & Flow.

After claiming his "Bachelor Degree in Jazz Performance", "Diploma in Classical Piano Performance" as well as awarded the "Best Keyboardist Award" in Asian Beat Band Competition, all in Singapore, AJ left the country and stays in South Korea absorbing the Korean and HipHop culture, before his return to Indonesia. Since his return, AJ has collaborate with various artist such as; Katon Bagaskara, Yacko, Alika Islamadina, Tulus, Dinda, Grace Sahertian, Ginda Bestari and many more including producing single for groups such as 5KY with "Yakin Bisa" and Blink! with "Hellow Mellow"

Chose to be known as Rap Artist who plays keyboard, AJ is aiming to be more than Dr Dre or Will.I.Am. It's definitely a big dream, but with his skill as a rapper, voicebox, keyboardist, loop artist, producer, songwriter, beatmaker as well as a composer, he has start to prove himself by having his works in various albums, musicals, dance shows, movies, both in Indonesia and International scene. It is indeed a humble start, but he's definitely going to make it BIG!
