In 2016, PaidPat became the first in his family to attend college at The University of Memphis, where his passion for music took off. It was here that “PaidPat” was born—a name that reflects his hustle and knack for always keeping money in his pocket. But the true turning point came during a chance encounter with Waka Flocka Flame on Beale Street, where PaidPat’s life changed. That moment sparked a connection, and soon after, Waka took Pat under his wing as a mentor and big brother, eventually signing him to Brick Squad Monopoly.
Since then, PaidPat has been preparing to unleash his full potential with the power of BSM behind him. His collaborations with Waka Flocka have only sharpened his sound—an electrifying blend of Trap and street anthems that carry a deeper message. Unlike many artists, PaidPat steers clear of glorifying violence. Instead, his music inspires listeners to get money, rise above, and change their situations.
Influenced by Polo G, 21 Savage, Yo Gotti, and Young Dolph, PaidPat carves his own lane while upholding the values of Brick Squad Monopoly—authenticity, hard work, and dedication.
