When I first heard the outro of Some Souls, it broke my heart. Those beautiful chords, that atmosphere — tucked away at the end of the track, probably unnoticed by many in a time when people skip through songs so quickly. I HAD to make a remix. I wanted to give this music the space I felt it deserved.
So, I kept the arrangement simple. Nothing flashy, nothing to distract from these chords that still haven't bored me, even after listening to them at least a thousand times. I hope you feel what I feel.
Endless thanks to ele, aal, and dalié for letting me work with this track. It’s now part of the original EP as a bonus track.

Our journey into the release of Haven begins with Hiccups, a track that carries a restless energy while remaining true to the unhurried essence of apaj’s unique sound. Hey friends, our next release is just around the corner, and we’ve decided to premiere this one a bit early. We’ve had a lot of fun playing it live at various festivals and club events, refining it along the way after each test run. Now, we’re excited to see where DJs will take it from here.
