On our latest release, we welcome the Paris based musician Joachim Pastor with his stunning EP 'Telfair'. Here, Pastor, who has enjoyed a musical upbringing and has been mentored by Sébastien Léger, presents three playful and emotive tracks, that shine bright with warming melodies and nostalgic soundscapes. While 'Eche' is defined by romantic piano keys and bittersweet vocal loops, 'Hands High' bedazzles with epic strings and a crunchy beat. With their second single release from their longplayer "Connected", AKA AKA & Thalstroem invite the singer Jim Hickey into the studio. With his soulful, almost fragile voice Hickey weaves a sound carpet of emotions on the complex beat of AKA AKA & Thalstroem which, with his reduced tempo, builds up an enormous groove until the break. When the guitar play of Thomas Moked unfolds to an inspirational source of harmonies, Hickey's voice starts the prelude to the ecstatic climax of the song.
Dan Caster's remix takes many elements of the original, forces up the tempo and clearly shows that it's meant for the dancefloor. While using the original vocal Caster puts it on a high pitch on the middle part, giving it a serious recognizability; Teenage Mutants divergs quite a bit more from the original and concentrates on his crystal clear bassline and concise drums, which are broken up through spacy layers and wide opening synths and even while having a 4-to-the-floor mix, give time to dream and flow with the music.

After his very successful "Blind"-EP on WHATIPLAY, Dayne S is now adding another release to his WHATIPLAY collection in the form of his new "Sensor"-EP. "Sense the environment and new impressions to move freely from your inside." That's how Dayne S describes his central idea, while he produced the deephouse-tracks "Sensor" and "Labyrinth". Listening to the tracks, you are definitely able to relate to this thought, as both tracks encourage you to dance due to their catchy rhythm.

Nach seiner auf WHATIPLAY veröffentlichten und überaus erfolgreichen "Blind"-EP legt Dayne S mit der hier vorliegenden "Sensor"-EP nunmehr nach. "Die Umwelt und neue Eindrücke wahrnehmen und sich durch diese aus dem Inneren heraus zu bewegen", so beschreibt Dayne S seine Kerngedanken bei der Produktion der beiden Deephouse-Tracks "Sensor" und "Labyrinth". Diese Gedanken kann man beim Anhören beider Tracks auch sofort nachvollziehen, regen doch beide Tracks durch ihren eingängigen Rhytmus konsequent zur Bewegung an.
