Like a ray of dawn sunlight breaking the darkness of night, our latest seductive release appears over the Venetian horizon. Release number eleven from Endless and a full label debut from the Cosmic Cowboys with their 'Enlight EP'.

Harnessing much of the mood and romance of their city the duo transfer and present it within their silky and complex textures, layered behind the solid grooves of all three tracks. The title track is a musical description of the perfect summer's day. No words, only drums and synthesisers and a delicate atmosphere that envelops its rhythms. Like a sunset lighting all with its red glow. 

'Capricorn' gently leads the listener in the dark of the night with its epic strings and powerful chords that deliver us to a breathtaking break that expresses the full emotional power of the track. Closing the release is 'Tell Me How', a beautiful and warming number that will fire the senses and heat the bones in the cold of the morning. A sensual jewel and the perfect finale.

With their second single release from their longplayer "Connected", AKA AKA & Thalstroem invite the singer Jim Hickey into the studio. With his soulful, almost fragile voice Hickey weaves a sound carpet of emotions on the complex beat of AKA AKA & Thalstroem which, with his reduced tempo, builds up an enormous groove until the break. When the guitar play of Thomas Moked unfolds to an inspirational source of harmonies, Hickey's voice starts the prelude to the ecstatic climax of the song.
Dan Caster's remix takes many elements of the original, forces up the tempo and clearly shows that it's meant for the dancefloor. While using the original vocal Caster puts it on a high pitch on the middle part, giving it a serious recognizability; Teenage Mutants divergs quite a bit more from the original and concentrates on his crystal clear bassline and concise drums, which are broken up through spacy layers and wide opening synths and even while having a 4-to-the-floor mix, give time to dream and flow with the music.

Anjunadeep’s Explorations series returns this August with it’s sixth outing. Boasting five label debutants in Xinobi, Yunus Güvenen, Ole Beige, Ceas, and Westseven, and the return of John Monkman, the latest in the series is as diverse as it is distinct.

First up is John Monkman’s ‘Magnolia’. A cascading dive into the deep end, Magnolia’s haunting atmospheres and whirling leads culminate in an evocative track, triumphantly signalling Monkman's return to Anjunadeep after three years.

Featuring a infectious hook set to a pulsating chord progression, Xinobi’s ’Skulls’ is a floor filler for the masses, marking an impressive full label debut for the Lisbon producer.

Having recently released his first track in four years, Bedrock Records affiliate Yunus Güvenen steps up with ‘Lost In Sight’. Originating from Turkey, Güvenen’s production is both celestial and emotive, evoking the classic progressive sound of the 2000’s.

Ole Beige’s offering is an organic track imbued with tribal vocals and percussion. The German producer’s penchant for emotive house has previously seen the support from Pete Tong, epitomised in the soulful detuned chords and driven syncopated synthlines of ‘Tanzanian'.

A culmination of subtle percussion, nuanced keys, and soaring synths, Ceas’ ‘Parosse’ signals a promising future for the French Producer, previously one half of duo We Need Cracks.

Closing out Explorations 06 is ‘Seeds’ from Westseven, a new project from Kuala Lumpur based producer Rory Gallagher. ‘Seeds’ sees Gallagher bounce deep arpeggios off a brooding bassline to craft an enigmatic and hypnotic atmosphere.
