aka-tony from Zurich was hooked by his vinyl collecting uncle when he was a child at the age of 3. he collected vinyl for years, flooded his home region with homemade mixtapes and played here and there as a resident. when he moved to barcelona the decks and the whole vinyl were sold and from there on his focus was only on listening to music of all kinds. in 2018 he was going to do a short mix with records from the last century and that's when he got hooked again. so far the "one" mix has grown to about 150 and an end is not too soon in sight. as a resident of the non-commercial radio GDS.FM he is playing a regular slot for 2 years and with aka-tapes he has his own podcast series.

It is said that Masternark 2 first appeared on the hot summer of 2018 in the Hungarian countryside after having an understanding with the interstellar god Ketakiteh. Realizing the essence of nature is subtlety in a minimal form forever changing like water . . . The continuous stream of impressions and feelings coming together in one dimension. Not where but when, all in an ever changing journey of time music flows . . . through music, Masternark 2 always want to deliver a sincere journey evoking reflection upon ourselves and the world we are a part of. Always playing progressive tunes that often includes minimal hypnotic beats with a deep bassline, he enjoys both uptempo and downtempo traveling. Always in search for those vibes taking you to distant lands and off this globe. Currently Masternark 2 is spinning records in his Stockholm suburb Brick City and its surroundings.
