Hello everyone, and welcome to the seventh episode of The Aural Code.
I’m Armin, also known as akabúho, and I’m honored to have you with me for one of the most meaningful episodes of this series so far.

Today, I’m thrilled to feature an artist whose music has deeply inspired me over the years: the exceptional Robert Babicz.

With a career spanning over three decades, Robert has played a pivotal role in shaping electronic music. Whether under his own name or aliases like Rob Acid, Sonictwister, and Acid Warrior, his work blends emotional depth with masterful production. His signature sound, warm, analog, and deeply human, has made a lasting impact on listeners and producers alike.

He’s released music on some of the scene’s most respected labels, including Kompakt, Bedrock, Systematic, and his own Babiczstyle. Beyond that, Robert is a true multi-disciplinary artist: producer, live performer, sound designer, and mastering engineer, constantly pushing the boundaries of electronic music.

To celebrate his presence on this episode, the show is divided into two parts:

🌀 Part One is my personal tribute, a DJ mix composed entirely of Robert’s original tracks, carefully selected and blended as a way to express my gratitude for his influence on my musical journey.

🔥 Part Two features an exclusive guest mix from Robert himself—a set that captures the essence of his sound, full of depth, soul, and movement.
