VOLI 
DJ/Producer from Tokyo, based in Sapporo.
He started his career in 2001. In 2012, VOLI became the first Asian DJ to receive an offer from German legend Sven Väth's Cocoon Recordings label to release “Still Laughing,” which earned him international acclaim. VOLI's music has been internationally acclaimed since 2012, when he became the first Asian artist to receive an offer from German legend Sven Väth's Cocoon Recordings to release "Still Laughing. The song is profound yet subtle. His mix series “Booth Memory” has been gaining popularity for its unique aesthetic that combines the heat of the floor and the quietness of introspection.
His mixes have also been aired on the European radio station Evosonic Radio, and while rooted locally, he has a global ripple effect.

VOLI's music is not only about “functionality” in dance music, but also about the silence that lurks behind the groove and the lingering echoes that evoke emotions, allowing the listener to imagine a “landscape” of sound. It expresses a sophisticated sound that intersects the functional beauty and artistry of club music.
