El mundo que habitamos esta en constante comunicación con nosotros. Los ruidos y las vibraciones no son más que un lenguaje codificado, el cual, algunas veces, nos es complicado descifrar. Con el paso del tiempo hemos aprendido a hablar el idioma del sonido, tal es el caso de la música, con la cual podemos comunicarnos con aquellos espíritus que habitan las cosas, logrando entablar un diálogo secreto y místico que solo aquellas almas sensibles pueden percibir.

“Breve historia del Sonido” busca narrar la historia del hombre y del mundo que lo rodea. Desde el primer gran sonido del Big Bang hasta el zumbido de un teléfono móvil, cada capítulo sirve de guía para seguir las transmutaciones del sonido a través de diversos géneros y experimentaciones de la música electrónica.

Zolotaya Orda reach France with @ysmathegos.

Ysmathegos, under different nicks, has always been immersed in music. Musician in groups of punk rock and metal then singer of reggae roots and rap through everything there is between. Ysmathegose plunges only late into electro music with a passion for the down that will inevitably lead him to Mix 2 years ago. After training debut on Virtual DJ, he quickly went under Serato where he will make his weapons and his first live at his friends and then in bars. In July 2018 he made his first private live show with the electro mix "Nothing's Real" where he had his first big hit. Today he mixes under rekordbox and often participates in other private parties where he presents atypical DJs and hopes to participate in more events to reach a wider audience and share his vision with a community always bigger and bigger...

das ist also mein zweites Quarantäne-Tape, welches meine Auf- und Ab-Stimmung dieser Tage einfängt. Ich schwanke jeden Tag irgendwo zwischen dystopischer Endzeitstimmung und der Sorge bzgl. politischer Entwicklungen der EU und hier im Land und hippieeskem Optimismus bzgl. der Chance auf eine solidarischere Gesellschaft und der positiven Auswirkungen der Entschleunigung. Aber drüber oder drunter bin ich auch…: „Roll with the punches, when nothing goes your way.“

Wir rücken zusammen indem wir Abstand voneinander nehmen und isolieren uns, um zu helfen. Dieses Paradoxon muss ich immer noch jeden Morgen verarbeiten, wenn ich aufwache. Und ich muss verarbeiten, dass das, was ich mit Leidenschaft und Liebe tat, nämlich Musik zu machen für ein Publikum, nicht mehr geht und vielleicht nicht mehr in der Form gehen wird wie ich es kenne, weil nicht alle diese Krise wirtschaftlich überstehen werden. Innerhalb von zwei Tagen habe ich alle Jobs im Kultur- und Bildungsbereich verloren. Ich saß in unserem Atelier in Leipzig als ich eigentlich zum Geburtstag vom Mensch Meier in Berlin spielen sollte und habe den ersten Schock mit Rum betäubt. Dort begriff ich später beim Reden, dass ich nicht nur Existenzängste habe, wie ich mich nun finanzieren soll, sondern mir wurde schmerzhaft klar, dass das auch meine Identität ist, die ich zu einem großen Stück verliere. Ich habe all das mit Passion und Überzeugung getan, weil ich darin für mich einen Sinn sehe und auch andere diesen sehen. Ich habe darüber so bitterlich geweint als ich das zum ersten Mal begriffen habe und konnte nicht in den Arm genommen werden von meinen Freunden, die am anderen Ende des Raumes saßen, weil wir da schon großen Abstand hielten. Ich konnte nur mein Gesicht in meinen Händen vergraben und sie mit überforderten Stimmen sagen hören, dass sie für mich da sind, dass wir füreinander da sind. Das betrifft hier viele von uns.

Wir müssen nun die Orte, die ein Zuhause für die Kunst sind, retten. Eine Crowdfunding-Kampagne reiht sich an die andere, ein Appell an die Politik an das nächste: zu handeln, finanziell zu unterstützen. Da müssen wir laut sein. Wir müssen vermitteln, dass die Kunst, Freiräume und Kulturstätten „rettungswürdig“ genug sind. So wie die Banken damals (…). Inzwischen hat bei mir die Wut die Angst abgelöst, weil ich noch nicht sehe, wie die Politik die Kulturszene und uns als freischaffende Künstler*innen gut unterstützt, zumindest hier in der Region. Die schillernden Schlagzeilen der unkomplizierten Soforthilfe durch den großzügigen Bund decken sich derzeit nicht mit meinen Erfahrungen der letzten Tage. Bei mir kommt diese publikumswirksam versprochene Unterstützung nach vielen bürokratischen Hürden nicht an. Ich habe so gerade nicht das Gefühl wertvoll für diese Gesellschaft zu sein. Und doch: Die meisten verbringen ihre Quarantäne bewusst oder unbewusst mit Kunst: Musik, Literatur, Film und und und. Ich hoffe, dass viele genau diesen Bezug mit der Zeit herstellen können: dass dieser kreative Output aus den Orten und den Menschen, die sie mit Kunst füllen, entspringt und diese sind nun auf Unterstützung und Solidarität angewiesen. Wir sind wertvoll.

Und manchmal wird es ganz leise in meinem Kopf. Weil ich mich allein fühle, weil ich meine Lieben vermisse, weil ich Sehnsucht habe. Ich weiß sie sind irgendwie bei mir. Ich visualisiere dann das Meer. Das beruhigt mich.

Die Welt hat uns auf unsere Zimmer geschickt und wir sollen darüber nachdenken, was wir getan haben die letzten Jahrzehnte. Lasst uns nachdenken und verändern.

A long-time favorite in his native country, Gadi Mitrani has been representing the Turkish underground with esteem since he first burst onto the scene over 15 years ago.

A unique and prodigious talent, Mitrani’s ceaseless love for all things electronic music has led to some of the scene’s most hallowed and celebrated dance floors. A true visionary, he was one of the first to notice the potential of Turkey’s electronic music scene.

Famed for his signature melodic sets, Gadi is a DJ notable for his versatility and a man who’s more than able to chop it up with the best of them. In 2015 he debuted on Kompakt KX courtesy of ‘Key of Stillness’, a suitably momentous cut that introduced him to a whole new audience and duly elevated his status within the global electronic music process. Supported by well-known DJs such as John Digweed,Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, Behrouz, Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, and more, it’s a true gem in a discography that’s littered with highlights.

The last few years have been equally fruitful for Gadi. Now a firm fixture in some of the globe’s best-known labels, he’s repped everyone from Pablo Bolivar’s Seven Villas, Lee Burridge & Hoj’s Tale & Tone to to Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat to Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank.. Production duties aside, Gadi has also shared the stage with the likes of Hernan Cattaneo Guy J, &Me, Michael Mayer, Guy Mantzur, Patrice Baumel, Rampa ,Jeremy Olander and many more, In addition to the latter list, he’s also rocked stages recently in Burning Man Robot Heart, Incendia Dome sharing the booth with Hernan Cattaneo, Do Not Sit on the Furniture Miami, Ibiza as well as at Off Sonar Barcelona and proof if needed that this is a man currently on a fierce upward trajectory.

Umso glücklicher bin ich darüber, ein paar in dieses Stück Musik gepackt zu haben. Die kommende Stunde eignet sich perfekt um nackig, à la 'dance Iike nobody is watching', durch die Wohnung zu tanzen oder doch die noch ausstehenden Punkte auf der Quarantäne Liste abzuarbeiten.

Das alles geht natürlich nur, wenn man ein Zuhause hat. Was für viele von uns selbstverständlich ist, ist für Andere leider Wunschvorstellung.. daher geht der heutige Spendenaufruf an die Berliner Obdachlosenhilfe e.V.“

A todos nos toca afrontar los cambios. A todos nos toca ser parte de la historia. La pandemia marcó el final de la “normalidad”, y es cierto que lo “normal” ya no estaba bien. Ahora, el mundo y sus sociedades comienzan a cambiar, a florecer en un verano que es muy distinto a los anteriores. Nos toca reflexionar, poner sobre la mesa todas esas discusiones que, durante años negamos y escondimos en lo más profundo del inconsciente colectivo: sexismo, machismo, racismo, xenofobia, pederastia... Hoy, nos toca afrontar los cambios, tomar esos pequeños instantes y entregarnos a ellos, entregarnos al abismo, a la oscuridad... atravesar furiosamente ese velo y llegar a la luz. Hoy nos toca a todos ser responsables del mundo, y nos toca luchar por los/las que ya no están, por los/las que desaparecieron, por los/las que olvidamos... Hoy, nos toca afrontar los cambios, nos toca florecer. 

Padouc, grabó un podcast que sirve como interludio a su próximo EP; “Calakmul” que se estrena el 15 de junio en nuestro sello. Esta sesión musical es titulada: "One stroke of a wing, change the world in your head", y nos parece muy pertinente para la situación actual que vivimos como individuos y como sociedad. Disfruta de este viaje trascendental de cincuenta y seis minutos con veintiséis segundos.

My first summer mix of this year is dedicated to Ongun, a dear music friend of mine who will get married this weekend. 

Dear Ongun,  from the bottom of my heart I wish you all the best and hope to visit you anytime soon in Bursa. During the short time we have known each other you have impressed and inspired me a great deal from a musical point of view. You are doing a wonderful job, please keep it up.  If you succeed in impressing your dearest one the same way, one can only envy the young woman.  Cheers my friend.

 Más que un simple compendio de memorias, buscamos tener influencia en las relaciones, creencias, sentimientos y realidades potenciales de cada individuo y de este modo guiarlos, educarlos y transformarlos a través de uno de los  atributos intangibles del hombre: el sonido.
