Brandon L. Jackson (born December 24, 1995), formerly known as LockBoy Clever, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and co-founder of LockBoys Entertainment. I started pursuing my career when I was about 14 years old. I released my first single “All I can give” on my old myspace page in 2009. Before collaborating with my cousins Nicholas Augerson (LockBoy Nicko) and Ja’Quarious Calvin (LockBoy Chevy) to start our own music group and label, we released a number of songs on an old soundcloud under the name LockBoys including my first mix tape Elevation 1 released in 2016.

   The next few years of my life I had some personal and legal issues to resolve before I could refocus my attention on my next mix tape. In 2017 I became a father to my oldest daughter Naomi. Ten months later I welcomed my second daughter McKenzie into the world. 

   In February of 2020 after I got released from NPDC, I started working on my next project, Elevation 2: The Legacy of #24 in honor of Kobe Bryant. It just seemed terribly ironic that I was working on a single called “ Favorite Song “ that mentioned Kobe Bryant right before he and his daughter’s deaths. Kobe Bryant was a big inspiration to me growing up and that along with many other things pushed me to make Elevation 2. 

   Elevation 2: The Legacy of #24 was released on October 1st, 2021. This was my second to last mix tape that I released with the LockBoys. I left the group due to my own personal reasons and I am focusing on a solo career under the name “Nawfsidee Clever”. 

   Also, since I’m finished working on Elevation 2, I can start putting together my 1st album! I haven’t named it yet, but I will start promoting it with my new mix tape, Elevation 3: Purgatory, featuring local artists from Natchitoches, LA with videos and a YouTube Channel!
