As a regular listener to Akeni’s Friday Painkiller show on Sine fm, I was chomping at the bit to hear what gems Doncaster’s own would dig out of the archives to tantalise the ear drums.The one thing I was absolutely certain of?..It wasn’t going to be your your usual vanilla selection of the the cookie cutter trance you’ve heard on every compilation cd from the late 90’s.Whilst the likes of PVD et al brought trance to the masses,what Akeni achieves here is to delve a little deeper with some more progressive and meatier offerings.With The  Space Brothers rethink of Alena’s ‘Turn it around’, Akeni, starts things off nicely and sets the pace for the rest of the mix. For the next 40 mins we are taken on a tantalising journey,with gems from the likes of V8,Aquaplex,and The Art of trance, closing the mix is Matt Dareys remix of Delirium’s Heaven’s Earth’  All in all a cracking set.This has everything for the mind,body and soul. Lovely stuff.🫶🏻

I wanted to say a big ‘Thank You’  to every single person who has offered support over the past 11 months whilst we were forced to leave home due to a house flood.

We have moved no less than 10 times which has been incredibly stressful!

This week I finally moved back home (barely) .. so I’ve created a mix around the theme of my love for my Home!

There is no place like Home and if you’ve ever found yourself unsettled in life your home should be your sanctuary , a place of love , a place for rest , comfort and safety.

Really loved doing this mix , it’s my first one I’ve done in my own house in over a year! Crazy 🥹
