Hailing from the North West UK, Ger Zinio has been a staple in the electronic music scene since 1992. Inspired by the high-energy mixing of icons like Carl Cox and Jeremy Healy, Ger began his journey in the early rave and house scenes. By the mid-90s, his style had shifted to darker, more progressive sounds, shaped by influences such as Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Sasha, and John Digweed.

In 1999, Ger relocated to Dublin, Ireland, diving into a vibrant club scene. He became a fixture at renowned venues, including the iconic Temple Theatre, Ormonde Dublin, and the GPO in Galway. His presence earned him weekly and monthly residencies on prominent platforms such as Radio4by4 and Progressive Heaven, where he shared his evolving sound with dedicated listeners.

Today, Ger’s mixes are celebrated across the global progressive house community, with recent features on the Progressive House Classics blog. His popular podcast, Purple Haze Sessions, airs regularly on a lineup of respected internet radio stations, including Subcode, Super Progressive, KDK DJ's, Progressive House UK, Sonar Bliss Radio Belfast, RTE PULSE's Back 2 Basics, Mixpub Radio, Inferno Radio, Chicago Youth Radio, So What! Radio, ODH Radio, and Report2Dancefloor. Known for curating deep, dark progressive house, techno, and nostalgic old-school vibes, Ger Zinio continues to captivate audiences worldwide, staying true to the roots of classic progressive sounds while pushing forward with fresh, emotive vibes.

This is a Drum & Bass 101 history mix, featuring 101 tracks featuring all the different styles D&B has to offer. This was a very technical mix fully utilizing 4 CDJ 3000’s while focusing on having everything mixed in key while taking the listener on a historic journey. Goal here was to give listeners a fun history mix showcasing on a great deal of the classics and where this culture came from while keeping the mix fun with tons of energy. As usual a huge helping of dubs, more than 30 in this one! This mix was made using 4 CDJ 3000's & a Pioneer V10 mixer, which was plugged into a Tascam to record. The mix was mastered by Funtcase. The mix has a total running time of 1 hour, 31 minutes & 39 seconds. This mix was made on May 9th 2025 and was the first guest mix featured on the "Breakdown with MC Dino & Fury on Impact Radio". Ok, so im from Southampton, and spin trance and techno from early 90s through to early 00s. I have been collecting vinyl for nearly 25 years, but only started mixing again recently. I have never considered using anything other than vinyl, until 2021.

My main influence is mark eg. Seeing and hearing him smash dreamscape 21 was immense. An entertainer, a madman, and a damn good set builder, be it trance or techno. Always sought him out at events such as skelter, dreamscape, and the one and only country club in Evershot.

During the 1990s i travelled the country going to events such Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Hysteria, Devotion, Fusion, Tazzmania and Hardcore Heaven. The smaller events were always my faves. The Shire Horse in St Ives, Country Club, The Coven in Oxford and a little Club called Jollys  in Southampton. Listening to some of the biggest the scene has seen in its history. 

Old skool hardcore was my first love. Sterns, peace festival were tapes i used to collect. Around 93/94 i started hearing different sounds. They were of course, trance and techno. Dave Angel, trevor rockcliffe, colin dale, gayle san, mach one, warlock, colin favor,craig walsh. European sounds with UK and Anerican techno. Then the trance from europe, which had a different vibe. A euphoric sound which of course, went hand in hand with ecstacy. Hard sounds with uplifting breaks and undertones. Mark EG and M-Zones first ever set in the technodrome were massive points. DJs who were ahead of the game with the euro sound. Kenny Sharp and Vortex also pushing the more obscure stuff. How many unknown tunes are there to still be named from their sets???

MCs Ribbz (god), squidgy, EZy, sharkey, Marley, Lux, Lox, frostie, Mad P, GQ, robbie dee, lennie and digger.

I prefer to mix a more melodic slower trance set, as opposed to a fast trance set. Everyone knows the classics from back in the day.

Orbyte discovered electronic music back in 2018, admiring big names such as Armin van Buuren, Hardwell and David Guetta. Back then he started playing the decks before his friends, and a year later his very first time before the public!

Neil is a Trance , Progressive House and Psy-Trance DJ and is well known for his shows on TrnceFamilyUAE and also Afterhours FM. Neil has appeared on lineups including artists such as Ferry Tayle, Manuel e Saux, Signum, Binary Finary, Allen Watts, Billy Gillies to name a few.  Neils mixing style is very focused on flow and feels its the perfect way to keep a listener engaged.
