The upcoming sonic voyage is guided by Japanese artist Ayaka.y, presenting a distinctive contribution to our series. She explores the more experimental facets of minimal music, venturing into the depths of lower tempos and embracing dramatic transitions.

Hailing from Kobe, Japan, Ayaka.y inherited her passion for electronic music at a young age, thanks to her father who is a DJ. Her journey commenced when she was just 10 years old, following in her father's footsteps and embarking on her own DJ career.

Over the years, Ayaka.y's musical exploration spanned across a variety of club music genres until she ultimately found her true calling in the underground minimal techno scene around 2013. Here, she fine-tuned her unique style, revolving around minimal techno. This signature style incorporates robust bass elements, meticulously adorned with delicate nuances.

Since 2022, Ayaka.y has expanded her musical horizons. Her focus now extends beyond minimal techno, as she ventures into the realms of minimal house and deep house.
