Tease Me is one of those songs where I can look back a remember exactly what I was going through while writing it. It was about 5 weeks into the first lock down and around the time that I started venturing down a different lane with my music. I was going through a lot of odd emotions as many of us were at the time, which is why the record sounds as if you were floating in dream that felt impossible to wake up from. This record was one of the very first songs I was able to just sit down and rediscover my love for music again with. The more and more I release music in this new style the more I believe in risky move of trying something new as an artist. I honestly wouldn’t have done it any different.

It’s been one year since the day I’ve lost my laptop on tour. 
July 2nd 2017 was the day my life changed forever. I fell into a depression after that day for many months due to the loss of many projects. 
The worst part is that I wasn't backing many of my projects up on externals at that time, including this tune

I was lucky enough to have an almost finished export of this tune in my SD cards, thats the only reason this tune gets to see the light of day. 

I wasn’t able to fully complete this project because of the loss, I wish I got to sit down and work on this for 1 more hour just to polish it a bit more and get it right.
   One thing I’ve learned going through this experience is I really need to Back My Shit Up. 
And I have been ever since so expect Lots of music coming your way really really soon :] //

This EP marks the END of Moshington. I have come to realize that I was meant to bring far more influential music to this world. I no longer want to partake in the EDM rat race and be another pawn in this oversaturated industry hungry to fill stadium seats rather than support timeless art. it is time to move on to far greater projects.

After finding out this was Pauline's first session she brought up an idea she had made before coming over as something to start with. She had already written this song from her perspective talking about being nervous about a significant other and what they were doing behind her back.

We started in the afternoon and wrote out the entire first half of the song together - we stopped to get poké and came back to write the second half. I thought it could be cool to write the second half from the other perspective. Pauline suggested I sing the second half to bring that idea to life even more to which I definitely said no, but after a bit of convincing and Pauline telling me I sounded somewhat like Eden I said fuck it and started recording.

By 3am the song had been finished, front to back in just over 12 hours.

The contrast between both vocals and combining them to resolve the story as a duet makes this song special. I remember both of us listening to it multiple times a day after it was finished and both being ecstatic about it.

Pauline is such an incredible singer/songwriter but also producer - She's the majority of the reason I even sound half decent while singing and tons of other changes throughout the song that made it feel right. We we're swapping off my PC multiple times an hour going back and forth when either of us had an idea to add. We almost ended up losing the project at one point and named an audio channel "FLUT THIG" that ended up becoming the first name of the demo and the inside joke between the two of us.

Thank you for being a part of this EP and helping create a song that I will stand by forever. FLUT THIGGGGGGGG
