This track is made for slow, attentive miles. The kind of walk where you notice light on walls, wind on your face, and the sound of your own breath. It does not hurry you. It gives you space. The pulse is gentle, the edges are soft, and the music invites your thoughts to line up and settle. On a mindful-walk playlist, it works as a centering piece. Steady enough to keep you moving. Calm enough to keep your mind clear.

“Where the Sand Remembers” opens in stillness. Oud alone, close and unhurried, shaping a line that draws the ear inward. The violin joins as a quiet companion. At times it shadows the oud in near unison. At times it answers from a step away. The dialogue reads like thought and counter-thought rather than call and command.

The middle section widens in small circles. Nylon guitar stays in the background with soft arpeggios that color the air without pulling focus. Short pauses let the melody settle. When it returns, it carries a touch more light, as if the horizon has moved closer.
