💦We at Urban Antidote we are very happy to present you the first volume series of "Hakka and Friends", Pillars of Creation is designed and created by Fábio Peixoto which is the the mind behind Hakka project, he presented himself as a DJ in big parties and Psytrance festivals in Brazil for 10 years, that gave him the inspiration to create his own productions. The series "Hakka and Friends", will have included collaboration tracks with friends that are making part of his music career as a producer. His music style is inspired by a style of Forest Psytrance with metallic leads, gloomy atmospheres and complex drums. Each volume will be composed with five unreleased tracks with a careful psychedelic story.

There was once a day, when Admiral Grouch @GrouchNZ was interrupted by an unexpected visit… the whispering sound of a small stream flowing nearby: SCHIZVUKT! 
His cousin just dismissed from the Yes No mental institution, where he promptly had to pack all his belongings. Then it was up to him to to avoid dusty hard drive’s clutches to reunite with his uncle.

He got help by @Knobs-1 and @Xenoscapes who joined with their dark spaceship. To find the singing Cow MIC LEE, before the slick scientists @Extra-Mind could encounter him, did not happen. On their way though, they accidentally dropped into the jungle with only a chimpanzee, a teacup poodle, and a groove-gadget called @Timboletti.

Disco, a vital Trojan horse (in local notion: a pop music you can dance to), stayed quite a long time In Yugoslavia, refusing to be silenced and refusing to jump into the bandwagon of expected. It was influenced by American and European disco sound, for example, by the Boney M, Amanda Lear or Love Machine, who all visited Yugoslavia and had live concerts. The producers and the big record companies like Jugoton, PGP RTB, Diskoton or ZKP RTVL, noted the hype in music and they constantly probed the market with limited run of seven inchers or special performances. Some artists were quite successful. We had our version of John Travolta (Zdravko Čolić), we had Boney M in Mirzino jato and other musicians that climbed the charts, but the rest were in the single empire which was free enough to experiment with all things disco had to offer – genre hybrids, use of electronics, sexual innuendo, bizarre lyrics and most importantly, great musicians and major composers having fun. The no-restrictions policy of disco was there to evade the rules and surely it did. (extract from the Liner Notes)

Akkma is the psytrance project of Maxime created in 2011.

After participating in many techno events he is very quickly attracted by psytrance. Enchanted by the magic of this music, he decides to experiment and compose his own tracks.

His compositions are a mixture of dark atmospheres, strange soundscapes and organic textures that allow him to get closer to his vision of psychedelic trance. Maxime likes to take inspiration from the atmospheres and sounds of nature. For him, music brings to a form of spirituality, allows to arouse emotions, to connect to nature and that's what he tries to share through his compositions.

He has always made a point of creating all his sounds from the ground up, using neither sample loops, presets nor generative AI, so that his compositions are as close as possible to his and the feelings he wishes to share.

He has been a founding member of the Funky Freaks records label since 2014 and released his debut EP NEMETON in January 2023.
